Staff was nice. I like the set up of Breakfast.

Room was ok, but wasn't cleaned well. Hair on shower wall, mirror, etc. Baseboards & corners not cleaned week. Bathroom was subpar overall. Needs deep clean or remodeling upgrades in general. Baby roach in shower in the middle of the night.

When working at a hotel, you have to keep the rooms clean like you were staying the night in the room. I just would like

The women in the kitchen area was so very nice and sweet in spite of what I was dealing with in my room they made me feel a little bit more comfortable, although I was so very upset.

The first night, my husband and I took a shower, changed into some night clothes laid across the bed, only to find that the bed was soaking wet. We kept calling down to the front desk, they claimed they were helping other people, it was 12 o’clock in the morning. my husband finally, went down to get the manager after blow drying the wet spot with a hairdryer I have pictures too! His name was Seddrick and he brought up extra sheets. He said they were out of rooms. He noticed that the bed was soaked all the way through, it had to be like a 20 inch mattress. The room smelled really bad and there was a moldy Juice container, orange juice container under the mattress sitting right on the boxspring I wonder whoever wash the mattress couldn’t see the juice bottle. The manager came with extra blankets knowingly, these blankets were going to get wet to so he found us a handicap room the bed was much smaller, but the room was bigger. I still was very much uncomfortable because my husband and I have a huge king size bed. We ordered a king bed, but was given the handicap room with a queen bed. We have to settle for a queen felt like a full size bed. Anyway, seddrick said we were going to get reimbursed for one night and this was July 3, 2023 and I still have not received my refund. I need the whole refund now. after blow drying the wet spot with a hairdryer I have pictures too.

The ac could have worked better. We were getting hot in the room even with out set at 68. When we turned it lower it still didn't work well.

Best Place in Shreveport

The staff here are the best!! Dominique, Sharon and Sedrick were so warm and welcoming! I was so impressed I'm actually writing this review. I rarely write reviews but I have to let people know what a gem this place is. The bed was super comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and my husband and I hope to always book this place when we come to Shreveport to see our Granddaughter. The best staff ever and I mean that! Thank you so much for welcoming us and accommodating our 2 special requests enthusiastically. Staff like this really makes all the difference!!

I love everything about TownePlace it is the best hotel that Marriott has, and the staff is very friendly, respectful, organize. I would like to also give a special thank you to Ms. Brenda for serving a wonderful breakfast and Ms. Loria and the cleaning team for excellent service. Wonderful but left hungry.

The breakfast was terrible. Food served in bags like fast food. The bacon was too hard and crispy but was the only thing edible. I was very disappointed because of the money I paid for this room. We have stayed at cheaper hotels with serving of eggs, bacon and sausage, and even waffles.

Superb

The hotel allows pets which is wonderful. I wish and will suggest they put a fenced area up where dogs could get off the lead and run.
