It was dated. The bed was okay. It had the cheap hotel smell but I paid too much for it

It was worth my time!

Didn’t really have breakfast. Liked the provided towels when requested!

More shuttles to the airport availability. Upgrade the laundromat facilities.

Lies.

I was lied to about the airport shuttle, I was stuck at the airport for over two hours with a bay and no one answered any email or phone call or text. I was told when booking I could get a crib only to find out from the front desk that they were locked in the janitor closet and weren't available for me to use.

Passable

Clean, didn't smell funny, nice room. I loved the blackout curtains.

My room was directly over a very loud conference, and even when it was over all of the staff were taking out dishes and garbage for almost an hour after through a door below my window. Also when I entered my room both nightstand lamps were unplugged..

Proximity

Proximity to restaurants, mall and relatives. Plenty of parking. Feeling safe.

Having to go to the Reception desk to sign the Check In form for the same room even though they allowed me to stay in the same room the second day when I initially signed in. I had two separate bookings at this hotel because I had cancelled one at another hotel so that I wouldn’t have to stand in line to check out.

The location

Our room was visibly dusty, the dust was thick on the bedside table and tv stand. The elevator smelled like cigarette smoke and marijuana. The halls had several different odors and didn't smell clean

Poor Customer Service

I liked the location. Shopping Mall and restaurants nearby.

When I arrived to check-in the woman at the counter let me stand at the window for at least 5 minutes without saying a word to me. She knew I was there and I waited to see how long it'd take to be acknowledged. I believe her name was Linda. There was a man who came by twice to grab some keys or something and he didn't bother to say hi or ask if I've been helped. Maybe that wasn't is responsibility to do so. Finally, another woman came by and saw me. She greeted me and I told her I was checking in. She said Linda can help and, as it turned out, all I had to do was take 4 steps to the right and apparently I would've been helped. Poor customer service in my opinion. Any time that I walked past the front counter there was never a friendly smile or anything along those lines. I had to get my room key fixed, because it quit working at one point. It almost seemed as if I was an inconvenience to the young man who re-scanned my key. I just got the feel as if the staff didn't really care too much for the guests. The room wasn't necessarily the cleanest. There was floss on the bathroom floor underneath the sink. Could've been dusted better. Some hair and spiderweb on the wall.

too many people at the restaurant and bar we had to park far away due to bar/restaurant patrons very strong smell of marijuana throughout the motel

I used to love staying here but after this last visit I’ll likely never be back

Location is right down town.

Staff is rude, they will laugh in your face for asking for basic requests like an extra pillow. Beds are awful, might as well just sleep on the floor.

I would never stay at the Monarch, but my reunion was held there so I gave it a second chance. Sad

High school reunion.

I was growled at upon check in. Staff acted like he was doing me a favor checking me in. No ramp for suitcases to elevator from lobby. My bathtub had no plug so I couldn't take a bath. Room coffee was extremely inferior. Customer service seems to be an afterthought. Staff told me I dared to book through Bookings.com so they could not help me with anything. I had to go to Bookings.com. "Next"

Great start of a holiday

The staff is very friendly and their service is amazing. They gave us a ride to the RV company while the didn't have to. The hotel is at walking distance of a large supermall. And there are a lot of difference options to go out for diner .

Nothing, would love to stay there again.

Loved the location and safety!

Location. The pool area was nice and walkway.

Our room was not cleaned daily. Lobby looked dirty and so did some staff.

great location for what we needed

you could tell that it is an old place. there was a little smell to it. when we checked in, the first room that was assigned to us was either still dirty or someone was still in the room.
