Room was dilapidated and the beds were tiny and uncomfortable. The price was mostly for the view of the harbor

The staff were responsive and kind.
The room was advertised wrong from the booking site. There wasn’t any A/C in the room once we got there and burnt up the first night. They did move us once a room became available the next day. The valet was terrible they never picked up the phone and I had to hunt them down to get my vehicle. Overall it was over priced for what I got I could have been at the Laquinta inn for the level of service I was provided. Paying 1200 for 4 nights I expect an upscale stay and got a cheap chain motel experience.

The week we stayed at the hotel, in the room next door there was a horrible noise, we complained to the staff and they told us that they were under construction all week, and the noise would continue, starting from 7 am until the afternoon and I ask myself, well, actually my vacations are to rest and have peace of mind and I paid so dearly to get there and run into such barbarity, they told me they were going to change my room and in the end they never did and they waste my money, my time and I won't go back there

Location was great
Staff isn’t super friendly
Female security in front was rude.
She seemed to have a problem with us being an interracial couple.
My husband and I both noticed her rolling her eyes, ignoring us when we walked in

Hotel was quiet and mostly clean. It has a 1980's Spanish vibe. The pub downstairs was actually really good and had delicious food throughout the day. Drinks were generous and tasted great. The room was clean and minimally stocked with linens and kitchen items. The pool was small but good for a few guests at a time. Great walking distance to the bay and a nice shopping district with a few modern clubs.
Check-in was terrible. We arrived to find a long line of people after 5PM waiting for room keys. The desk staff were indifferent and gave different excuses to each customer. We personally had to wait in the lobby for over 45 minutes and ended up in the pub while we waited. Eventually we were called and then received a dirty room and had to relocate. The bed/mattress was older and stiff and linens were worn and had stains. Towels were minimal and stiff. Valet parking was nice but they blew the horn to get a gate-arm to open. This was irritating at all hours while trying to enjoy the balcony. All of the views are limited/obstructed so on one side you get some trees and the other you get another hotel and their pool. You can barely see the water honestly.

it's one of the oldest hotels in Miami and has character! Good location in this area and a quite sweet little pool.
the noise from the next door huge hotel and that they charge for simple water bottles in the room
