Centrally located and reasonable rates. Breakfast offerings were fine. Many restaurants are within walking distance. Other hotels in the area are overpriced.
The bathroom door was broken and would not close properly. The heater would not shut off automatically, need to turn it off manually and it is loud.

The renovation left the front lobby beautiful. The hallways and stairwells give it an elegant appeal in the rooms. Have a nice color scheme. It is located in a fantastic area with one of the biggest libraries in the Pacific Northwest close by.
Nothing was wrong.

Breakfast was a little better than expected
Vinyl floor in room could have been cleaner

Friendly staff and quick and easy checkin checkout
Room was tiny and had two full size beds when I thought we were getting queen size beds.

Breakfast was good.
Beds comfortable and room very clean.

The breakfast was good. The employees in the breakfast room worked very hard and kept it very clean and kept the food and coffee from running out.
I am not sure why I couldn’t find any salt and pepper to put on my eggs, though. That was the only negative I can think of. The coffee was very good and I liked the little caramel creamer packets they had one day we were there.
Salt and pepper in the breakfast room would have been appreciated.

Staff was amazing
The rooms need updating, beds didn't feel clean

My favorite feature of the room is the ability to control the temperature myself. The thermostat is accessible and easy to use, the AC/heat comes right on. It's a beautiful thing not to have to call the front desk for climate control in my room.
The beds are very comfortable, number and comfort of pillows is perfect for me at 4, 2 more fluffy and 2 more firm.
Some properties turn the refrigerator off when guests check out, but forget to turn it back on when the room is rented again. At Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Vancouver, the fridge is always cold when I get into my room.
I never hear the freeway (I-5 is "right there"), the noise from downtown, the waterfront, or the trains.
Breakfast is from 6-9 on weekdays, 7-10 on weekends, hot breakfast meats, eggs, waffles you make fresh.
There were homeless people hanging around the west entrance, which I told staff about, because I was uncomfortable about them being there. Staff allowed them to use the restrooms, eat the leftover breakfast after guests were locked out of the breakfast area, and one man was sleeping on a chair with an ottoman in a lobby area off the rear parking lot. I'm not against showing compassion, but I did wonder if any of this was sanctioned by Comfort Inn & Suites Corporate. Like, maybe there's another way to show compassion.

The hotel was conveniently located near downtown and other amenities. The room was nicely appointed, and the breakfast was pretty good. We asked for a room close to the elevator and they happily accommodated us. The lower rate had me questioning the quality of the room, but it was actually very nice, and I would definitely stay there again.
Everything was really pretty nice. It's just a little older and not right on the river.

Comfy bed, big bathroom, very cold AC, good location and good value.
Girl upfront wasn't rude but wasn't a very happy person either. Took me 45 min to get my room straightened out (Booking.com screwed up). After all that, she only got me 1 room when I asked for 2 so we had to do the whole thing over again. There were some stains on the bedsheets, rips in the chair. The breakfast was subpar in my opinion and playing cartoons? At 7am with no kids around? Wierd...
All in all, I wasn't disappointed as much as bot impressed. If you want a simple place with no outstanding qualities then this hotel is for you.

Staff was great , room was clean
Way too much traffic noise from I-5 (earplugs are a must). At one point I checked to see if the window was open...it wasn't; mattress should be replaced - I kept rolling into the middle all night long and woke up in pain cause by the mattress. I switched beds in the middle of the night and that mattress was slightly better but, not by much.

Walking distance to waterfront , restaurants , farmers market and Fort Vancouver reasonable price.
Can’t think of anything

The front area smelled very nice and made me feel good.
The chairs in the room were dirty, so I wiped them down before using them myself.

The room smelled strongly of a perfumed cleaner on top of old smoke. We all could smell it instantly upon entering the room. We also all woke up with terrible sinus headaches. We knew people in other rooms throughout the property and several of them had the same smell.

The staff are always polite and friendly. I stay there several times a year, and they remember me by sight, if not by name, and greet me warmly. They know the rooms I like and are thoughtful to make sure I get one of them.
Their breakfast is delicious, generous, serve yourself. There's always hot water, coffee, and tea in the lobby, so I can grab something on my way in or out.
I wanted to pay for my room with cash during my stay there December 2022, but I was told I would have to pay an extra $200, if I didn't use my card. 😡 Needless to say, I used my card.

Great breakfast and clean room.
Had to wait over 20 minutes to check in. No one at the desk. Probably short staffed because staff was pleasant and welcoming once at desk.

we come to this hotel twice year for dance convention
it wasn’t clean. we switched rooms three times
first time the key pad was working and curtains and room was dirty
second time smell and dogs barking loud
third and final room. bathroom was dirty we got cleaning stuff from front desk and cleaned the bathroom ourselves
than someone moved all out dance mom and son things from there room and placed it in closet after she was booked the same time, same price and stay with us. someone violated privacy and touched there things and took 30 mins to find her items that was found located in closet in the hallway .
we come here every February for the past 4 years now and plan to continue but it do need better service the next time we come to visit

We were surprised at how many options there were, with hot eggs, sausage or bacon, and 2Belgian waffle machines. A great start to the day. The attendant kept the space very clean and well-stocked.
We would have liked to know at checkin that rooms were not cleaned daily. We understand the reasons( staffing shortages, environmental concerns) but we didn’t know we had to request full service.

Pet friendly was a big bonus! Being able to bring our dog without a hassle was wonderful. We also left a day early and was refunded in a timely manner.
The shower head left a lot to be desired. But it was not bad for water saving and all.

I would not stay here again, property is in need of a complete renovation.
The property was in serious disrepair. The carpets in hallways, elevator and hotel room were very stained, worn and frayed.
Tiles on our shower were falling off, rusted shower was painted over with white paint. Patched walls were not even painted to match room paint.

professional and pleasant staff!
