They wouldn't let us stay because we paid online like who does that they wanted cash which is a little fishy I say
Everything thing from the owner trying to take money under the table so he don't have to pay taxes

size of rooms. cleanliness
parking sucked. ability to have company sucked

very good location, free parking, hotel is cheape, front desk works 24h. Very good hotel just for k e night during road-trip. comfortable debs, huge room
we couldn’t close the bathroom door. it could be cleaner

All of the charms of a 100 yr old building, meticulously updated infrastructure, comfortable beds, elevator to upper floors. Charming host.
Unfortunately, COVID has created a employee shortage, so the restaurant wasn't open. But there were several cafes and restaurants within half a block distance.
2.5
The owner was very friendly, we had a nice talk over a beer
The hotel is extremely old, cranky stairs, broken chair in the room, no coffee option at the hotel
2.5
They don't use booking.com, wastes lots of time and asks to pay again at hotel, dirty, never go there
2.5
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
The air conditioning did not work, the room had a terrible odor, the shower was too small, they did not provide shampoo, only hand soap. There was a water bottle cap under my bed covers.
I guess I should have known by the price that I would not have been happy.
2.5
The location was excellent and the staff was outstanding. The meals in the hotel restaurant were excellent, the drinks in the hotel bar were a great value, and even the elevator was above average, bright and clean. We were in walking distance of at least three great restaurants and bars.
This is an older facility and has somewhat dated decor; if you're looking for the most modern facilities, you might want to look elsewhere, but if all you need is a place to sleep, eat, and drink, close to other destinations, this has all you need.
2.5
Price was right
No shampoo for the shower and one tissue in the box
2.5
The hotel is old and a bit outdated, but I expected that and enjoyed it for what it was. Staff was friendly and accommodating. This hotel could be so much more with a little TLC.
It was a little dated, and parking is tricky. The town is barely surviving yet there is metered parking throughout which is just plain silly.
2.5
Friendly, quiet, close to town, clean

the price online and rating said they were the decent option of the location. I had no idea BATH NY was a seriously bad location
Research BATH NY, it is seen as an unsafe city that is considered overrun by drug users. This location is not ideal.
*This is not professionally maintained establishment, running as a hotel.
Originally my trip was to Ithaca to visit the city for the day and find somewhere cheap for the night.
The reviews and price were decent and the time of booking, not having any idea of what the area was like.
The double bed room I had booked appeared nowhere like how it seemed online.
- The linens were poorly unkempt, stained and holed and obviously over used.
-The rug was over worn, the chair for the table had burn holes in them.
-The bathroom floor tile was stained of a disgusting yellow even on the door.
-The outlets on the wall were severely broken and clearly not of concern for the staff.

I didn't have breakfast there
It was very inconvenient from the start this hotel doesn't accept booking. Com payments online I'm praying for my refund I had to pay for my room out of pocket with cash after already being charged for the room on my debit card that's a double payment for one room 🤷🏾♂️

Nostalgia & Twilight Zone Vibe (@ 1st).
The person checking me in couldn't work the card machine, gave cash from ATM, went to the room and it was filthy. We decided to find something else. We came down and asked for our money back and she refused! She would not change the room or give our money back.

bed was comfortable, bathroom met my needs,
room air conditioner had a slight musty odor, television had very few stations, one lamp in the room did not work,

It’s located in my hometown.
the room was not clean whatsoever even though it was supposed to be it was cleaned and it was just overall disgusting and my boyfriend ended up finding a cockroach

Great location, and charming old fashioned hotel.
The hotel lacked a bit in the cosmetic and Maintenance area. It needs to have a complete remodel including new bedding, carpeting and repairs. I noticed several doors were broken, like they had been broken into either by police or someone trying to get into the room. Not the most welcoming sight to see.

They were doing 3 Christmas ice carvings in the park across the street from the hotel. There was a lot to do in the vicinity of the hotel. A number of restaurants and bars were within walking distance. Someone sits in the lobby all night for your convenience as there seems to be very little crime in the neighborhood, more like a 1950s Mayberry street.
There really wasn't a good TV in the room. There was no remote either. The girl at the bar stated the other customers had taken them but then did nothing to replace it for us. Also the card for the TV stations was WAY off.

The owner John is a very nice gentleman. And very helpful.
No remote for the TV, no microwave or refrigerator. No ice buckets.

Was charged through booking.com and again charged at the motel. They would not verify my payment. Paid again in cash. So I just received my credit card statement and saw that I was charged twice. Never again
Very dirty and unprofessional with reservations

Convenient location in a very quaint town. The owner was very nice and affable. You can't beat the accommodations for the price. It has a lot of charm and very clean.

The staff were always friendly and engaging. Free local newspaper.
The whole place had a pungent deep stink from cigarettes and other unidentifiable smells (I know it was bad because I normally can't smell most things). I was handed a spray can of Febreeze, which I suppose helped. There were absolutely NO amenities in the room like coffee maker, refrigerator, iron; which to be fair they did not advertise having. The hot water was just about warm enough with no cold mixed in to shower, but the shower head shot streams out the side of it. The sink couldn't even manage a tiny single stream...it sprayed everywhere. The TV had a joke lineup of channels, hand written on a note card. There were HDMI inputs however that were not locked down like some hotels, so bring a ROKU stick, set up a hot spot on your phone, and you're golden for movies! (not even sure if there was wifi or if I would trust it). The morning bartender charged me $1.40 for a luke warm tiny cup and saucer of coffee; hot water (from the tap) was 'free'...thanks...

Dated rooms with old tile, furniture and carpets. There were lots of stains everywhere but the beds were comfortable and the bar and general areas were beautiful and clean
Not clean

It’s a quirky old hotel
The renovation was a few decades ago

Some might object to all transactions occurring over the bar… I did not.

It was a little expensive for the facility and room we were in. It was okay for an overnight stay.
Price didn't match the quality of the place.
2.5
Quaint location downtown across from the town square.
Parking was challenging while checking in. Fine after that.
