Great location, room was very clean and comfortable and had a great view of city hall
Valet is 70 dollars a day that’s including tax and it is a DISASTER! It took an hour and 13 minutes to get the car. Mind you we stayed two days so $140 bucks, a little outrageous for such a bad experience.

Great hotel, great place, excellent room. It responds to what we were expecting
At the check in the welcoming was horrible. Lack of total empathy treating us very poorly. Even asked us to make a step aside as we were having issues finding all element of our reservation back. It was a horrible experience after having travelled a long time with 2 kids…

The hotel has an excellent location. The rooms are spacious and very quiet with an excellent bathroom. The lobby is also very nice and quiet. You are close to the Wanamaker and the main buildings of the city. Public transport within easy reach. Good WiFi. Nice bar with a wide selection of drinks and very friendly staff.
The furniture and furnishings of the room show some wear and tear. The breakfast room is small and the menu is rather limited. The Valet parking is expensive, but not unusual for the Metropolitan area.

The hotel is well sited at the heart of Philadelphia close to Reading Terminal Market and easy reach of the main sites of the city. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.
Very slow service at breakfast and in the bar. The rooms were very expensive, which we discovered when we reached Philadelphia was the consequence of a 15,000 delegate strong conference in the city centre.

The hotel provided slippers and robes when I asked.
The gym was a decent size.
Bed was very comfortable.
I stayed with my 2 grown kids and husband and the room was a good size.
Conveniently located to old town. Definitely walkable. We walked to the Philadelphia Art Museum and back. Trader Joe’s was down the block.
The hotel provided bottled water which was very nice
Nothing. All was good. Will stay here again

Beautiful facilities, well-appointed, in a perfect location.

Location was perfect. My room was very clean.
Room service and valet are a bit slow. My breakfast was cold by the time it was delivered and there are no microwaves in the rooms.

Great location opposite City Hall. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms - clean and well presented linked with hotel being a historic building. Nice public lounges and reception area which were well used by guests, people working 'from home' and meeting friends. Very helpful doorman (Nicholas) who gave us a friendly greeting every time he saw us and suggested places to eat, drink and visit. Interesting art work on display around the hotel.
We had a breakfast deal with the room and every day, the service from the staff was very poor. We were shown to a table by a server who stayed on her phone, beckoning and then pointing where we had to go without speaking to us at all. Our breakfast deal was challenged and questioned quite rudely by one server which we found very embarrassing in front of other guests. Each day, we had to ask again for many items we had ordered - tea, water, orange juice, milk, and the main meal. One day, we were given our tea in a paper cup and was told that she would bring us a china mug so we could use that if we preferred. One main meal (flatbread with scrambled eggs) served to us was dark brown (burnt) with dried up egg. The server must have been aware that it had been left under the heater for too long and when we asked for a replacement, she told us we would have to wait some time. No apology or acknowledgement that it was poor quality. It was replaced with an apology once we had spoken to the manager. Breakfast time become quite stressful as we braced ourselves for yet more poor service and food. We were very surprised to experience this quality of service in a Marriott Autograph hotel. It seemed as if they relied more on the historic nature of the building and location rather than the service offered by the staff. Upon checking out, we shared this experience with reception and were given an apology and extra points on the loyalty card.

The room was large and the bathroom was nice. The view was okay and the staff were very helpful when checking in and out of the hotel.
More outlets near the bed as Iwas not able to use,my papa Device due to no outlets close enough to the bed that I could find.

Nothing to dislike, phenomenal hotel!

Location was perfect, staff were friendly and professional, would stay again.
5.0
location, staff, fitness center
There should be additional towel bars in shower space - currently only one. You want guests to re-use towels so obviously they need a place to hang them up. Also need a towel bar in sink area to hang up hand towel.
The "barn" door style for bathroom is awful - no real privacy.
No fan in shower/toilet room.

Location. Comfortable sheets and bedding
A little dark. Water bottle filling stations would be nice.

The staff were very welcoming. Our room was clean, and location was the best! Right in the heart of down town. The history on the hotel was interesting as well. I would stay there again.
The guests on our floor were yelling until 11:30 at night. I called guest services three times. Each time I was told they would have security come up, but I never heard any one come.

The quality was fantastic and very comfortable.
A staff memeber could care less that my daughter was really ill and we had to leave a day early. her only comment was. " You will not be compensated for leaving early so you really should stay." Rather insensitive.

Very central location, just next to the City Hall; spacious room
Subway just under the hotel, pretty noisy due to that.

I LOVED the beds!!
I LOVED the location.
The staff were lovely.
I didn't like the fact that the restaurant and coffee shop were closed during the day and that the bar closed at 10pm.

Awful experience! I booked for 3 adults and I was charged for an extra bed even though the price on Booking was inclusive for 3 people. On top I was charged $75 for accidental damage without any communication and after 3 weeks I am still struggling with the hotel to receive the deposit back. They do not reply to my emails any longer and the money has not been refunded. What waste of money and time!
