Perfect location! For me was 5 minutes by walking from my office that week. Great breakfast, wonderful hotel team!
Nothing!

Super friendly staff
Was on the non-renovated tower this time, the carpets are old and also the noise insulation is literally zero

I loved the room, hotel and room was super clean, beautiful decoration, the bed and the pillows were so comfy. Good pricing
No microwave on the room, parking full

We were there for a concert at Ravina. The hotel provided a shuttle to and from the venue. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was good
It seemed like our room wasn’t cleaned or totally ready. There was an ironing board left out… thought that was odd. Then we noticed crumbs on the floor but were too tired to call the desk (got in late) The next morning WE REALIZED THERE WAS NO SHOWER CURTAIN. My husband went to the desk to complain but the staff said “we will let the house keeping staff know when they get here.” We waited until breakfast was served to ask about the house keeping bringing up a curtain and this woman was stunned. She had no idea of our request for one in our room. Just unbelievable.

Lobby and bar area
Elevators, hallways for hotel rooms, soft beds, and HVAC system that varied temperature greatly.

This place is simply outstanding.
It sets the bar for the entire hospitality industry. The staff go above and beyond to ensure their guests comfort and satisfaction.
Nothing. Renaissance Northbrook has exceeded my expectations in every regard.

It was Convenient for where we wanted to go.
Not very updated - shabby carpets rooms not cleaned every day. No garden.

Big hotel with a nice bar. Rooms were OK.
Located far from the city center and 30 minutes from the airport. But near the Botanic gardens, which was the main reason to stay there.

Location to ravinia was great and the shuttle was a plus.
The elevators had a weird smell in them

Great staff and very comfortable room.
Bar in the lobby, counter under windows needed to be cleaned. Dead flies by windows in bar area.

Location
Seemed worn out. Carpet seemed worn, paint was nicked, furniture was worn, one elevator to our tower was out. Charged for internet (who still does that). Room cleaning was uneven.

We have always loved staying here. It's been 12 yrs since we first came. It nice, clean, and close to Ravinia.
The staff ( except the man at the door) is not as friendly as the old staff. Also, the restaurant is over priced for the mediocre food they have now..

Breakfast was bad. Everything was soggy from sitting in the chafing dishes. The sausage looked like it had been steamed. The bacon was soggy, not very well done. The hash browns were soggy, too. I worked in food service for almost 20 years and I would never had served a breakfast like this.
I had the wings for dinner on Friday and they weren't done. Several of them were bloody by the bone. They should be temped, then visually checked for dineness.

Friendly staff
The bed linen had a disgusting blood stain on the top sheet and fitted sheet.

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean and TRENDY!! The bartender - Vincent - definitely one of thee best humans I've met, so genuinely kind and funny!! The room was beautiful and I loved the updated feel. Luxury at best!

I was charge. When I already book thru booking .com paid $189.00 n I showed my confirmation b booking # from booking .com. The receptionist said he can't find it. HE TOLD ME HE WILL GIVE ME A ROOM BUT I HAVE TO PAY SO I PAID $200 MORE.FOR 1 night. While he will look again for my booking. I demand to get my refund from that Renaissance hotel .pls return it to my card. Thank you.

This place was so quiet. My family and I didn’t hear another soul once inside our room. The bed was so perfectly comfy & firm. My only discomfort was the pillow. I’d suggest providing a firmer option for guests that prefer one.
Ruth’s Chris closed entirely too early!!! Website states 11pm, they were closed at 9pm . Big disappointment for my family.

The location was good.
The rooms were supposed to be ready with no feather bedding, but they were not and I had to ask again. The
A/C never worked properly and when first entering the room it was hot and humid. The rooms had a musty smell. There was no water offered each day, housekeeping did a minimal job. Wi-Fi was not free.

Their price went up by $80.00 since my stay in August last year

amazing rooms, very clean. and quiet
there’s nothing i didn’t like about the hotel

Bed was super comfortable and the room was clean!
Live music at the lounge Thursday night was great.
Breakfast was add on fee.. can’t they just put pastries/yogurt/fruit out with the coffee? That’s the difference between a hotel that makes you want to come back and one that makes you feel like you didn’t have the BEST experience. Also.. coffee in the morning ran out 2 out of the 3 mornings I was there. And took me forever to find a trash can in the lobby. There wasn’t one!! Had to go into a conference room to dispose of a bottle. No sense and inconvenience to not have a trash can in the lobby!!?? And no outdoor seating when waiting for a car. Could use a nice bench.
