Location, responsive & courteous staff.
The room cleaning, which was to be alternate days, was provided only once in the 6 days and 5 nights that we stayed.

Like it was easy too access different places arounded the city .
The noise from traffic was horrible. Especially on weekend . Sounded like a racetrack .The construction arounded the area sucked ! Went to wash my clothes . Had one washer & dryer on site ? Went to a local place instead. Just was disappointed & would not go back

It was a good location but hard to find as it’s set back. Parking was a tad bit expensive but at least it was on the property.
Their restaurant!
The lights were not turned on over the counter making it extremely difficult to read their menu. We ordered a chocolate martini and it was served to us in a highball class, it looked like a small ice coffee. Paid a price that we would anywhere else that we would enjoy a Martini that was made as it should be- 🍸

Clean, great location, friendly staff

Not much stuff and no table service. Again when conventions are going on you should expand breakfast not only for the guests but for the opportunity to make a lot of money
Breakfast and bar open more
5.0
Bar hours were not long enough. When conventions are in town or in hotel should extend hours . The money you lost. Also breakfast should be a normal breakfast when lots of people come from out of town.

Location was good
The whole floor as well as our room smelled like marijuana for 4 days. Talked to staff about it and they did nothing about it, even though they acknowledged that it was a problem. They were unwilling to do anything about it, so they get this sorry review. Don't stay there unless you are a pot smoker. If so you will love it!

Room size quite small, couldn’t open 2 luggages at the same time.

Excellent staff

It was a decently clean and spacious room with a nice view outside my window.
It's bare bones, nothing else.
I called down to the in-hotel-bistro one night to see if I could have food delivered to the room or if I could go down and pick up my food, and was told that, despite having opened an hour ago, no one showed up to the kitchen, so dining in wasn't an option. Nothing was done to accommodate us when this happened. Just sh*t out of luck. Paid a lot of money and it wasn't even possible to spend more money to eat in my room.

The location is great. Close to restaurants and College Hill. The highway is 2 minutes away.
The cost of parking.

Location was great, very clean, spacious room, staff was very helpful
$30 seemed like a lot to pay for overnight parking when there are no other public parking options

The staff were very understanding. My parking pass did not work. I had to go into the lobby to ask for help and was dressed as a girl at the time (had just been to a Halloween party) and no one batted an eye and the man on duty came out to personnally open the parking gate!!
Staff were wonderful.

Nearly a full english. Nice choice and opening hours during the week are okay also
Bar to be open from lunchtime. Nowhere to get a coffee once breakfast shut, until the bar opened at 18:00! Bar oping hit and miss, staff dependent. Bar to be of a more welcoming and warm feeling, instead of a plastic slab and only small in length. The area needs more staff and to be done out better. A bit miserable condsidering the size of the hotel tbh

Generally good hotel, with good rooms and equipment.
Comfortable bed and storage space for longer stays. Small shop for snacks and water/sodas at the reception.
There is a bar and bistro available in the lobby for breakfast and snacks in the afternoon/evening.
Located downtown, it is of course convenient to go to any restaurant or shopping mall downtown.
What was not so nice:
The Fast and Furious style street racing on Memorial Blvd. below, until late in the evening (approx. 11-12 p.m.)
Every night dozens of cars and motorcycles use the streets and seemingly nice acoustics bouncing off the high rise buildings, to rev their engines and accelerate down the street, howling their engines. It is fun for about 10 minutes. This is not really the hotels fault, but a nuisance nevertheless. Perhaps some sound proofing would be nice in the near future.
For now if possible, get a room facing the other side...

Breakfast was awesome !
Rooms are dated. One room we stayed in smelled quite bad like pot.

Clean and quiet
No restaurant or decent breakfast facilities. May turn one of the many conference rooms you have into a restaurant.

Location.
To the Manager and Marriott Courtyard Customer Service:
I received a receipt for $0 after I checked out on September 5, 2023
However, there is a charge for $790.89 posted on my Chase account on September 2, 2023. The charge was not reversed.
I believed my stay was free (confirmed by the receipt sent to me below) because of the arrest outside of my room early morning on September 5th. My son and his friend and I had to push ourselves against our room door to keep it stable and to block it from opening for our safety. It was being pounded on constantly by your other guests staying across from us as they fought. Repeated calls to the night manager/receptionist resulted in no assurances to our safety. Arrest(s) was(were) eventually made, and we rushed out of the room as soon as it was safe to leave (4am ish).
I did speak with the night time manager and got a contact number for the general manager. He mentioned only the general manager can waive the charge on my stay. I did not think that I had to call anymore when I recieved the $0 receipt below.
Is Marriott Courtyard just slow in reversing my charge, or is there some other explanation?
Please also forward my account of what happened at your location to the general Marriott Courtyard Customer Service Department. I regularly stay with Marriott. It was unthinkable that we fear for our lives that night, and still having to deal with this weeks after.
Sincerely,
Dr. Guu
