pissed. angry. frustrated. and so happy to see my daughter that nothing can dampen that experience. she is doing so well

I was moved from Fairfield to a Country Inn on Henrietta due to a water leak. I had to drive out there at 1:30am. the room was horrible—dirty, stained sheets, ceilings is horrible shape etc. difficulty getting to sleep because I was very uncomfortable in this space. I will respond with photos directly to Booking, Fairfield & Country Inns. I paid $450+ for this horrible experience and am so dissatisfied I can barely contain myself—-and as experienced 75year old solo traveler, I have never ever experienced such a horrifying night. I seriously want my money back. and please, no excuses. the normal cost for this room would have been under $200 at Fairfield. the value at Country Inns is certainly lower, and they could not have put me in a more horrible room. I was exhausted and was extremely polite to everyone. but I do put up a good face while seething. FYI I was staying overnight in Rochester to visit my daughter and son-in-law in Corning (and waiting for my son and daughter-in-law who took the red-eye.)who were in a near fatal accident in a truck on Veterans Day and this is my first time seeing them since she was in a coma in ICU at Strong Hospital. she has not been strong enough for visitors due to extensive injuries and severe brain trauma. I didn’t deserve to be treated like cattle in your hands. Bitter? Angry? You bet. And I am the most positive, nice person… so sorry you brought out the worst in me.

There are better options that even with a short Uber are more suited to an overnight stay.

proximity to airport

too expensive - price surcharge for weekend was excessive . there was a mini bottle of lotion half full which is unhygienic and no other fresh supplies. the shampoo dispenser was broken, as was the plug in the bath which for $700 a night is not expected. staff were friendly but took a long time to check in.

sidewalk from Fairfield to airport covered inICE and snow both on Thursday when I had to walk between Fairfield and airport and the same was true on Friday

I will definitely be back with my husband.

The breakfast was delicious and freshly made. The staff at the desk, in the restaurant and cleaning crew were friendly and professional.

In the cool fall an additional blanket or heavier comforter would be nice.

Clean, close to our daughter college campus for parents weekend.

Quiet rooms even though we were on airport property. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good.

The manager tried to be very helpful.

There were ants in the room crawling all Over the surfaces. Holes in furniture. The rooms smelled. I was moved 3 times to find a better room.

Location perfect.

We had an hour's drive from home to the Rochester airport, so the location was perfect as we had a very early morning flight. The staff was helpful and friendly once we checked in.

Overall, the room/bathroom seemed clean and comfortable. When trying to retrieve an item dropped between the bed and bed table, I found a large collection of crumbs. We had planned to walk over to the terminal, but the snowy sidewalk was not shoveled. Thirdly, I tried multiple times to contact the hotel with questions before we checked in and no one answered the phone.
