The location and the staff were good.
The bed was hard as a rock. It would have been better sleeping on the floor. We had to wait for an elevator for a long time. For the price you pay per night you shouldn't have to pay for parking.

We enjoyed the area and the local fares. Enjoyed the architecture and the events in the area.
Unfortunately, seeing that we upgraded our room to a corner suite, we would have liked to have had a decent view of the city. The 6th floor corner West room was less than what we expected for the price. Room service is nothing like it used to be in the past, and there is nowhere to sit or eat in the room. One chair and a desk area doesn't cut it for a Marriott. This room should have had an eating area, an area for a couch to lounge, and more art on the walls. There was no air vent in the bathroom with a fan, and there was no vanity mirror. Really disappointed.

It was a beautiful hotel and room
There was no microwave in the room

Terrible location. We are seniors and had to walk quite a distance from the parking garage to the hotel lobby and then to the 18th floor.
There was a cheerleading competition that we were not aware of and the front desk was very busy and the girl at the desk caused us to feel rushed and not welcome.

The room has a modern decoration and bed was comfortable. The location was great, there is Starbucks in the hotel.
They don't provide wifi/ internet if you are not a Marriott member. When I asked for wifi, the receptionists was not helpful also rude. I told him about free wifi at Booking.com website. He doesn't have any idea about Booking.com. He asked me how Booking.com knows the hotel rules of the hotels. It was sad to see this type of staff at a nice hotel.

Convenient location.
Charged more than we were told we would be. Would not allow a split payment.

Did not have the breakfast- didn’t know there was one. Location was great. Beds were comfortable
It was loud. Kids running up and down the hallway for hours after midnight

I like the building it was great.all was good
I wish I knew just how busy the location was going to be and I wish I was told where parking lot is for the building. When coming form out of town this info would be very helpful to know ahead of time...Spent a long time in traffic and a long time trying to find the garage entrance. A few hundred santas in the santa crawl and huge concert crowds all came at the same time.

Setting a comfortable temperature for the shower was a challenge. If possible, add some simple guidance on shower use and setting the temperature of the shower.

Location
I booked and prepaid for a west king corner room. When I checked in at 4:35PM my room type was not available. They placed us in a corner room on the East wing on the second floor facing a busy, noisy three story bar with the view to the street. They gave me
5,000 Bonvoy points as compensation but blamed Marriott headquarters. It was not Marriott’s fault, it was the hotel management’s fault. How do you give away a room that was reserved weeks ago and prepaid??!! Horrible management.

Bed very comfortable, restaurant food good, great view, great location, bathroom nice, towels great, staff friendly
Elevator not clear that room card is needed, no indication of no room service so we spent a lot of time trying to find it, no one answered at front desk either by hotel phone or personal phone so I had to dress and walk down, shower conditioner empty

Every staff member we interacted with was so lovely and welcoming! My partner and I loved being right in the heart of the city and being able to walk to fun places like Decades and Tellus 360. We also throughly enjoyed the view from the exchange! We wish we could have stayed longer than one night!
The only downside for us was getting confused about the fact that we had to go outside to get to the exchange. We took a wild elevator ride trying to find it before we finally realized it wasn’t accessible from inside the hotel.

Beautiful building great location
The check in guy didn’t tell me our room number or how to use the elevator. People were asking for money when I’d try and use the elevator

Location, beds, check in
We were disappointed that on a holiday weekend the restaurants and bars did not stay open late for us to enjoy after we returned from the wedding we attended. There were a lot of people hanging out in the lobby looking for someplace to socialize. The restaurant/bar would have been a perfect gathering spot.

Good location in the walkable Penn Square area with lots of restaurants, bars, etc (we did a 1h ghost tour).
When there is no breakfast (restaurant closed on Sunday), thanks to the in-hotel Starbucks to have us covered (friendly service there).
Room quality is still good.
Unfriendly receptionist at check in
No light in elevator
No room service
Broken lights in room and halway
No free Wi-Fi for non Members (almost $13 per day is questionable what all others have as an standard included amenity)
Pool and Spa were closed
City view was to tellus360 bar, which is quite loud on Saturday night.
The hotel barely meet the 3 stars, they only do the minimum.
It seemed overall the hotel was running on minimal effort and service (maybe another downturn in quality after pandemic).

Great location
Air conditioning wasn’t blowing out strong enough, it sailed breakfast was included but I had to pay extra and my window faced a wall

Clean, well maintained classic building. Central to downtown attractions.
Staff was totally mailing it in. No effort to provide service. There is a new level of incompetence in the post Covid era that I refuse to accept after paying inflated prices. I expect a level of attention and concern from Marriott staff that you won’t find in a Ramada or Motel 8. This should be obvious.

The hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious and expressive. I will definitely be going back and refer it to friends and family.
