We loved this place enough to comeback a second time, but may not be back for a third.

The location of the hotel is amazing, easy access to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Hotel staff were checking coolers by the pools stating no outside alcohol allowed and making you take it back to your room. Purchasing drinks from the bar will run you about (before tax) $14 for a drink and $35+ for a “bucket” of 6 beers. Outrageous prices! We were there in April and outside alcohol was allowed. What changed? Several guests we spoke to were very unhappy with this.

So beautiful and worth every penny

Absolutely incredible. We stayed on the 5th floor ocean view and it exceeded my expectations! The room view was breathtaking and the room was cozy and AC worked very well. The layout of the entire resort is so beautiful! I can’t wait to go back! I highly recommend staying in the beach house ocean view !

Sleepless due to noise.

Water feature was nice but the water was very cold. and did not use pools.

We were put in a room next to Ice machine, There is a gap around the door so the room was very loud when anyone used the ice machine. Metal ice buckets made even louder. They wouldn't let us change rooms or refund our money for next night stay because we booked on line.

The beautiful sandy beach and ocean view.

We were not informed that there was construction happening at the hotel. We were placed in the wrong room and had to move to a different room on day two. The doors that led out to balconies did not lock. The general manager (female) attempted to suggest they put us in an "upgraded" room instead of taking accountability for mismanaging the rooms. Bartenders were not friendly or welcoming. Main pool unheated (freezing). Never used swim up pool bar because of cold pool water. Caution tape surrounding hot tub area for two days. Total disappointment. We will not be back.

The breakfast was very good and we loved that it was included in our room cost.

Honestly we loved our stay. I guess if I had to pick something maybe add another hot tub as it was always full and didn’t get to use it as much as we would have liked to

Pros and cons

Make sure you choose to have the breakfast included in your room price and get the vouchers. Great choices and glad they switch it up for the buffet or you can order from the menu. The location is also fantastic!

There's no reason the Grotto pool isn't heated, its absolutely freezing cold and a waste.

We enjoyed our stay so well, that we were trying to make future reservations bedore our stay was over.

I have to commend the staff first. From the time I arrived on the property EVERYONE went above and beyond to accommodate my family. The view and location was exceptional.

Stay was perfect. Price was reasonable but the hotel exceeded our expectation.

The rooms were really nice. We had a balcony room. The beach and beach access area is really nice.

Didn't blow me away

Very attentive and kind staff

My room had an issue with the door to the deck. They fixed it right away, but there was a strong gasoline/oil odor from the repair that would not dissipate. I ended up switching rooms, which the staff was very accommodating to do. Lots of repair work going on, as it is the off season.

It was the last night of our vacation and we treated ourselves to an early anniversary present!

The Gulf Front View was amazing! The walk in shower was great! The pool/Grotto was absolutely perfect! Staff was friendly and I wish we would have stayed here sooner!

That we couldn't stay longer!! Maybe next time!! Overall nothing to complain about.

Loved the beach, but property was not as nice as advertised.

We enjoyed the location of the property.

The hallways were musty and not well ventilated, elevators didn’t work half the time, room was small, our restroom had a dingy smell, the large pool was dirty, small pool was as hot as a jacuzzi, and food was way over priced.

Proximity to the beach, the heated pool and the resturaunt selection

Rooms small and outdated, beds were small, pool with grotto wasn't heated making it unusable, the car show took all parking and made lots of noise, the charge for the hotels chairs and umbrellas was high.

Beautiful location and super friendly staff!

it was steps from the water. Good location with restaurants close by.

Breakfast buffet was overpriced for the food offered. Bathroom shower could have been cleaner. Grotto pool would have been fun but was so cold there weren’t many willing to go in. People in room across the hall were so loud it felt like they were sitting next to us. They were also very disrespectful by letting their door slam as they went in and out late at night.

Converted motel 6 rooms with parking carafe views. Gross

The staff were nice around the hotel. Balloon animal guy made my kids smile.

When we spent as much as we did for three nights and all the photos showing beachfront or pool view rooms and then receiving a room in what looked like a rundown motel 6 facing a parking garage. Also that glass at. Iggy is not privacy is everyone was able to see into our room walking by. Also the cherry on the cake was that you could hear every work spoken outside. When my husband asked for a change/ upgrade the first day we were told it was all booked. Next time I want to spent $700 bucks plus parking with my family. I will take it to the Hilton holiday in. We actually wanted to leave a night early because we were so disappointment. We. Poked this stay months ago and have. Even looking forward to it. These rooms should not even be an option. Also all the metal knobs and fixtures were rusting in the rooms. Do better !!!

all of the staff was friendly! the rooms were clean and comfortable. really enjoyed the karaoke at the bar.
