Close to the riverwalk and the Alamo
I couldn't sleep at night because the insulation is so bad and it felt that trucks/vehicles/train honks and police sirens were inside my room. The noise literally comes in every 30 minutes intentionally to wake you up. Additionally, they don't provide toothbrushes, so bring your own...

I had an event at the Alamo Dome so the location was perfect.. The staff was very nice. Assisted with directions to a laundry mat. The room was very clean and the AC was cold. I will be staying there again when attending events.
4.5
Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Thank you so much for such a welcoming atmosphere! We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Nora is the nicest receptionist ever! so kind and helpful!

The distance to the convention center was the biggest reason i chose this place. The room was ok, shower and toilet worked just fine so there was no issues there.
I will list the things that will cause me never to visit this hotel again and why i would never recommend it to my colleagues (or anyone) in the future.
1) Extremely unprofessional staff. With the exception of a nice woman named Nora, there were two other people who worked on the property that were rude, condescending and had i not been staying for just one night, I would call corporate to advocate for their termination. I had just drove 6 hours to get there for a work conference and as soon as I pull into the parking lot, a male manager (who sees me with my luggage) comes out and tells me "you can't park here, this lot is for guests only". This is not a proper way to greet guests. A proper concierge knows how to ensure a client is comfortable and this initial reaction almost made me cancel my hotel, but I foolishly let myself put up with this unprofessionalism because I was tired from driving so far.
2) The lobby and my hotel room reeked of overpowering curry spices. I felt like I walked into and slept inside of an Indian restaurant, which is not the experience I paid for. And for perspective, this hotel is not near any actual restaurants, so management allowed their own food to waft everywhere on the property.
3) my toilet lid had an unsightly brown stain on the back of the lid. I thought it was fecal matter but when I tried to wipe it with a cloth I discovered it was a burn mark. I didn't discover this until night time.
4) Rude staff part 2 - a woman (who wasn't Nora) accused me of having multiple guests sleep in my room. Not only is this inaccurate, but the fact that she felt comfortable enough to say this to me with a smile and the statement "I was concerned because we don't allow that"... I booked the site online, and there is no clause or stipulation that says this. Secon I travel frequently, and not once have I had any staff member speak or behave with such invasiveness.

small facility and very clean.
the parking was a little tight.

This was an excellent location to attend an event at the Alamodome. The front desk people were friendly and helpful.
Lack of places to buy food or drink within walking distance. Traffic noise was a bit loud at times.

Nora was fantastic, made a bad day become a good one. nice room, 3 blocks from or destination.
needed a new shower head, the one in our room was cracked and sprayed everywhere.

Great location, about 5 min walk to Alamodome, 12 min to Alamo and River Walk. it was clean and the reception person, I think it was the owner, was very helpful and nice.
They have coffee makers in the rooms, but no breakfast, but I knew about it.

The room was very clean and close to the Riverwalk . The spa tub was wonderful .
The hotel doesn't offer breakfast . House keeping doesn't come everyday to change bed sheets or pick up the dirty towels . Our check out time was 12pm , whenever we left the room around 9am to put our bags in the vehicle the door wouldn't allow us to use our key cars to get back into the room. We had to go back to the front and have them reopen it.

The place met our expectations and I would recommend this hotel to other couples for a hide away
Only thing that I didn't like was no swimming pool but I can let this pass cause the hotel was nicely kept

I liked that they room was clean and well maintained. The lady at front desk who checked me in was super sweet and very helpful.
The room was a little small, there weren't enough towels and it really isn't 'walking distance" to the Riverwalk as other reviews stated.
5.0
Nora, the lady who welcomed us to the hotel was exceptional she could not have been more helpful, she stayed late after her shift as our train was late to make sure we got checked.in ok and was full of useful recommendations . Location was perfect for our 2 night stay 10 minutes walk from the Riverwalk 15 to the Alamo if I remember correctly. No breakfast was included but lots of good value diners nearby.. 5 minutes walk from Amtrak in a safe neighbourhood
Can't think of any negatives . This place is a hidden gem.
