I don’t think there was a breakfast, but we did eat at there, secret toes and it was very good
The location of our room back up to the street and at two in the morning there were ladies screaming in Spanish. I thought one of them might’ve been getting murdered and honking horns and just overall a little noisy.

no in-house breakfast offering any longer

convenient location for walking to the plaza, free parking
I was pleased with the property. I will say the addition of a clock in the room would be nice. Also the blinds should close all the way.

Great location and pleasant, helpful staff.
We could have used an extra chair in the room

We love staying at the St. Francis when the rates are good. Wonderful staff, parking, accommodations. Some lights didn't work (but it is an old place!) but we were fine for one night.

excellent location. comfy bed. love the lather brand toiletries

The support staff was so kind when trying to help us move a dinner reservation. We really felt their sincerity.
I wish there had been a full length mirror in the room. We were getting ready for dinner and I had a hard time seeing if my clothing was in order because there was not a mirror bigger than the small one above he sink.

location
our room has a cloth headboard that is very dusty. I’m allergic to dust so trying to sleep was miserable.

Central location and general ambience is good.
Room was on the small side and bath was extra cozy. Hard for two people to move about and get dressed. Pricing was ouch at $400 with taxes for weekend nights.

History of the hotel was appreciated. Amazingly clean considering the hotel is pet friendly. Housekeeping was very attentive to our needs.
1) improve response time to guest’s request. 2) The air vent located on wall and not the ceiling or floor blows air straight onto the guest while in bed. Had to turn it off in the middle of the night and suffocate. 3) outside noise from tour buses and boom box base from car stereos was intolerable. Not the hotel’s fault but suggest that the hotelier business collectively vote and pass a noise free ordinance for “boom box base car stereos” within a six block radius of the plaza for the comfort of ALL visitors and residents.

Beautiful lobby . Staff other than bar staff excellent
No service in bar. $500. Excessive for queen bed and no amenities
5.0 / 10.0
The location is fine and close to the center of the old area.
The Lobby is very cold and austere with our any warmth at all. The elevator takes forever to reach the floor. In general there are other older hotels in Santa Fe like La Fonda, which is vibrant and full of life. St. Francis is dull and boring.
The bathroom was terrible. Two people could not be in that room at the same time.
This hotel needs remodeling to be considered a first class hotel.

Great location.
Roon very small. Spartan, dim lighting. Place needs paint job. Bathroom bare minimum. Great bed.

Absolutely one of the best traveling experiences I have ever had. I was disappointed at first by the size of the room and by that night I couldn't have imagined staying anywhere else. The history of the property, the housekeeping and front desk staff, the location, the magic that you felt inside and out made this the only place I would ever want to stay in Santa Fe. I was there for six nights and I truly felt sad when I left. I will be back, for sure.

Location was great, the pet-friendliness was lovely, and the steakhouse was superb. Beautiful hotel.

The hotel was in a historic location and the room decor was in keeping with the museum quality historic flavor of the area. The staff was friendly, helpful and the location very convenient to shops, galleries and restaurants.
The room was sooooo small I felt like we were trying to squeeze into a closet. TV wasn’t very high quality and was hard to see when laying in bed. The bathroom was also an even tinier closet in a closet. If you arrive Saturday parking was an issue. The hotel lot was full as was the public lot across the street. Week days no problem though.
