The front desk people were very accommodating. The breakfast was very plentiful. The check out time gave us time not to rush in the morning.

Pool was closed and was not told ahead of time 2nd floor has a weight room and sign says vending as well. There is no vending. We saw it on the way out and it's on first floor. To bad we saw that so late.

We booked a King room at this hotel because we wanted a King room. Upon arrival we were told there were no King rooms available! The staff seemed to think this was perfectly fine as they said "we cannot give you something we don't have". True, but they can SELL you something they don't have, clearly... After check-in, even their own Holiday Inn web site still advertised a King room as available when it was not the case. I call this "Bait and switch". Staff did not think this was a problem and management declined any compensation. It appears their policy is to never offer compensation when rooms are booked through third parties (like Booking). Therefore, if you book this hotel, the agreement is one-way only. You still have to honor your side of the deal (pay the room purchased as "non-refundable"), but they can honor their side or not (provide the King room booked). First time ever in 15 years of travel we have been treated this way.
