Loved the Historic building! Such an amazing place to be and the location is perfect!

Location was great in the middle of town, classical building, staff was welcoming, breakfast was good, large and comfy bed.
No fan in the bathroom, bathroom was very small and awkward, takes a long time for water to heat up. Plumbing could be better the toilet got clogged easily. The ice machine was always out of ice. The heater/AC unit did not work well, it took forever to heat up the room at all, and it didn't stay warm, had no parking lot you have to get a parking pass to park in neighboring business lots which was about a half a block away. The elevator was out of order and we were on the second floor, there were four floors to the hotel. The building smelt like a stail sweat shirt.

Good location. Decent breakfast.
Room was pretty shabby. Dirty carpet and moldy showercurtain.

Location was good, right downtown, and breakfast was fine, pretty standard continental. The staff was friendly.
The carpeting was filthy in the halls and our room. There was the smell of cigarette and weed smoke in the hallway leading to our room both days. The room was in need of improvement- the bathtub grout and caulking were gross, the window shudders were broken, the bathroom sink faucet leaked, the beds were uncomfortable, the road noise was very loud, the mini fridge didn’t work, no fan in the bathroom and the bathroom window couldn’t be opened. There was unfinished painting and wall cracks throughout our level with no sign posted excusing or highlighting the work being done. The pool water was very green and cloudy, an obvious health hazard. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Attentive desk staff. All necessary booking and payment information was on file when we arrived. Beds and sheets were clean.
The room smell was unbearable, very much like sewer odor. We had to sleep with the window open while running the AC and this barely helped.
Carpets were filthy. Plaster was peeling off the walls.

The evening staff was new but very friendly.
Carpet in room 315 was disgusting.

Could not vest as was having surgery
It was a rainy evening and the room 211 is located near a metal fence and allow. Some metal was loose and was banging the window all night and making loud noise Could not sleep. Pillow was very hard. Shower was hard to adjust—very hot to very cold . Hair dryer did not work and had to ask for replacement.

Great location in the heart of Sonora.
My wife thought the place is haunted, I slept like a baby.

The location of the hotel was centered around everything.
The elevator was broken and we had to take our luggage up to the 3rd floor.

The staff was very nice.
Parking was terrible. The toilet in our room was broken. The elevator was broken. The TV didn't work.

they should focus less on the 'historic' and try to update it to modern comfort. A huge room with a separate sitting room but not one single hook or hanger or closet so we had to throw our coats on whatever chairs we could find. The heating AC did not work and they brought us an electric heater which was very appreciated. The carpeting really needs to be changed. Honesty the staff saved the stay - every one of them was so kind and did their best to make our stay better including providing a heater. Location is great. Best to request a street side room because the interior rooms are dark and gloomy.

We booked two rooms and we're happy. We love that pets are allowed. That is the deciding factor for us.
Everything was great.

location was good and the staff was very nice.
My family, friends and I booked over 20 rooms for the weekend here. The hotel even called the venue we were at to thank them for selling out there hotel. When I arrived I found that the elevator was out, not a big deal for most. I asked them to make sure I had a room that was on the bottom floor due to my elderly dad that could not climb 2 flights of stairs. I was told I had to cancel my reservation and reserve another room at their hotel in the back. That again was not a big deal. But to find out that I had to pay almost 100.00 more for the night was absolutely ridiculous. 375.00 for one night was absurd! I was stuck and they knew I had several reservations due to me having to check everyone in and still charged me more. I find this to be very poor business. I would never do business there again.

Friendly staff, interesting historic noir to the location. Fairly clean.
Bathroom needed to be updated as the toilet listed to the side so you had to brace to stay on the seat. The water pressure was very low in the sink and shower. The location was so close to the noise of the street hearing motor cycles rumble and rude people yelling and screaming until 2:00 am. It was like a bar was right outside the windows.
