We liked the location and the dolphins.
The food was terrible and it was very expensive terrible food. Everything was an extra charge, so that was annoying. The facility was not kept up to workable condition: AC a was broken in our room (blew cold air constantly), faucet was broken at the pool bathroom, carpets were gross and worn, staff was folding laundry in the middle of the halls. For the price we paid, all of those should be taken care of.

Despite an early bug problem , the staff moved us to a bug free room.
Staff was always professional, courteous and eager to help us.
Had a working television for 4 of the seven nights, as older guests we like to end our night with some t.v.
Thankfully , resort took some charges off the bill to compensate.
If WiFi is better option than tv service, tell guests to bring a tablet of some sort.
Bathroom sliding door needs a handle of some sort, door slide is pretty stiff.
Rooms could use some more places to dry bath towels , which there were plenty .

Quiet. Good location. Comfortable. Nice pool and saltwater lagoon. Dolphin experience. Games. Free paddle boarding. The Tiki bar food was good and not too expensive.
Overpriced. The resort fee on top of the room charge felt cynical and excessive. We chose not to use the main restaurants for dinner; they looked overpriced and had mixed reviews so we mainly ate off resort.

Great family vacation property. The villas on the harbor are beautiful. Manage was amazing. Highly recommend this resort
Our first villa in sunset village was very out dated. But the manager happily moved us to a better location for our family.

it was a beautiful facility
my husband was napping in the afternoon, we are elderly. he was awakened by loud noise from the next room with young children screaming and yelling. first he banged on the wall while shouting for quiet. nothing changed so he went into the hall banged on their door repeating the same words. door opened a younger man shouted back at him and it continued back and forth. the door slammed shut and my husband went downstairs to complain. 15 minutes later a manager knocked on our door with a police officer and we were asked to leave the premises or we would be charged with trespass. we left and did have some difficulty finding another room. we thought they should have just moved us to another room. we had made a reservation and paid for a midnight cruise that night and were assured the hotel would cancel it and we would get a full refund which was not true. the cruise company told us cancellation within 24 hours of the event meant no refund of $182. the company refunded $90 to be sympathetic but the hotel person assured me it would be 100%. we thought the whole thing should have been handled differently

Beautiful resort with ample chairs and good food.
Service was terrible. In general, the staff seems very unhappy and that serving you was an effort. The front desk was terrible.
For Non -USA guest, or Canadians in particular, note that they charge you full amount and a large daily amount for incidentals. I didn't use this so it was refunded..but of course you lose on the exchange costing you money.

Loved the landscaping in the view. Had the great resort feel that it’s known for.
I felt like because they had a captive audience they price gouged in their marketplace and for their drinks and food. Food except for at the very upscale restaurant was mediocre at best as were the drinks.

Loved the style and cleanliness of the rooms and resort as a whole, and the variety of restaurant options was so nice to have. Loved the staff! Everyone was so helpful and on it. I loved how family friendly the resort was

great property, they need more help, should not take 2 hours for breakfast, or 1 hour for simple buffet style food, for the $26 martini price they should be able to afford to pay enough to attract some good help, people all over the resort had complaints, nothing horrible, mostly long waits and high prices. I hope they can get this resolved.
long waits, short staffed, if you want it, you better get it yourself

This is a beautiful location and a nice hotel. Lots to do and see, you could stay put for a few days in this resort. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful.
Food quality was well below average in all of the restaurants we tried. There were groups of (very loud) people drinking which meant the pool was not that enjoyable at times. The communal hallways in the hotel looked rather tiered and were often cluttered with cleaning trolleys - this is expected at certain times but not all of the time.

The resort is stunning. Location is excellent and facilities are so clean and well kept.
We had a few issues with the room on checkout and someone else being given the same room and our keys being deactivated. We also had issues with housekeeping not attending.
4.5
The resort is spread out so there’s plenty of room and it didn’t seem crowded. pools were very nice. our room had an amazing view of the ocean and canals
wish the kids area was open a little later

The resort area was absolutely beautiful. Enjoyed the restaurant and bar outside by the pool in the lagoon. Villa was great location with our own pool.
cockroach’s every night running through the villa. Master bathroom had black mold. Master bed was old and sunk in the middle, completely uncomfortable. we purchased the package that had a queen bed in the master. And we were given a double. Dishwasher was old and gross. no matter how many times you around the dishwasher it had black specs in there.
4.5
Perfect location waterfront! Nice pool.
