Stayed there several times and have never been disappointed. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Pool is always clean.

The room was cleaned. Fresh towels every morning. And a lot choices for breakfast. Very organized and clean breakfast set up. The breakfast attendant was very friendly.
Front desk was not very friendly and the seats at the front desk were stained!

Location as I’ve stayed here a few times for convenience of my purpose of travel
Housekeeping is almost non existent after you check in. Then front desk offers an excuse that they are short staffed & have only 2 cleaning ladies to clean 60+ rooms. No apologies but did give the excuse. Didn’t offer any sort of compensation for me not being able to be provided with clean linens either. I checked in Friday evening asked for clean towels Saturday mid morning was told by cleaning lady she would place them in my room as I was leaving my room for a while. Come back NO TOWELS. Front desk stated they had NO CLEAN TOWELS and offered some bath mats instead. Then on Sunday I requested a room tidy up & towels along with tissue paper that was almost out & bath wash. Housekeeping said she would handle it. I arrived back at my room later in the evening & found my room as I left it. With NO towels either. Front desk proceeded to inform me of staff shortage. This is a very unprofessional image for a HOLIDAY INN franchise.

Gisela at the reception desk was very efficient and pleasant. She was able to check me in a bit early and took extra time with me since my Booking.com reservation was not forwarded to the hotel. My room exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was newly remodeled and the lighting was excellent. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I loved the pillows! I was so surprised at the breakfast and all the cold and hot choices. There were scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon and biscuits and gravy. The lady in the breakfast room even came and told me she put out more bacon since she noticed there was hardly any left when I went through the line. The location was great and for dinner I walked over to Hurricane Grill which is in the adjoining parking lot.

Room is nice and modern. Lots of USB ports. Clean and comfortable. Love the lotion/soap dispensers in the bathroom.
Breakfast. At 8:30 in the morning, it was empty as in no food basically. Breakfast is served through 10am and I had to wait 25 minutes for powdered eggs to be made and brought out. No Eggs, potatoes, Sausage, Ham, Biscuits, coffee. All were empty. One lady having to prepare all the food and keep up. The hotel was fully booked with no vacancy so management should have stepped in to assist her in preparing food and keeping things stocked. Also, pancake machine does not have accurate instructions to use.

Left to run a race in Howey in the Hills early in the morning ing. Missed breakfast. The hotel was clean. The price was fair.The location was very good, for being close to my race venue. Close to good restaurants. Nice atmosphere. Some very attentive and helpful staff.
First I will say, that I went back and forth regarding writing this review. There were a few small things that were missing in the room, that did not make much difference to me. There was no hand soap, empty body wash, light did not work , only 2 wash cloths. I booked and paid for this room months in advance, for a pre-registered race. When we got to the hotel to check in, seemed that the hotel was over booked and short staffed. I get it. I work with the public. We are short staffed the majority of the time at my job. However, I try very hard to provide good customer service to our clients, regardless of staffing and frustrations related to being busy. When going to check in to the hotel, my friend and I were treated so badly by one of the front desk people, we almost left and went to some place else. The ONLY reason we didn't , was because hotels were booked solid for miles around, due to the same race that we were attending. I am a nice person.I am not a person that complains about little things. I am a good tipper. I do not expect people providing a service, to suck up to me. Good customer service means, good listening skills, trying to solve problems, being kind to people, professional, helpful and being resepectful to customers. The person who waited on us while trying to check in, displayed none of those attributes. I will say, after leaving temporarily while waiting to get in our room,this person did turn things around upon our return. Not sure , what caused such a dramatic change in this employees attitude and temperament. We all have bad days. I have them , too. However, at my job we would seriously counseled, written up , suspended or fired for treating clients the way my friend and I were treated by this employee. It made several small/ trivial things,seem worse than they really were( no shower gel, no soap, only 2 wash cloths, nonworking light in room). I like this hotel. I want give it another chance when I run, next year.

close and convenient for my plans
I specifically asked for a room without a connecting door. when I got to the room it had a connecting door. I called the front desk right away and said I asked for a room without a connecting door and was told it was locked. I felt like my request as a paying customer was completely ignored.

The manager Samuel went above and beyond and was very helpful and understanding of our elderly father with dementia when we ran into a problem with extension on our stay! The staff was very sweet and friendly when we had to speak with them.
The rooms were not up to standard on cleanliness, the bathrooms had broken fixtures and the shower did not work in one of the 3 rooms we stayed, there was rust and mold in the showers even after housekeeping came in, there were stains on some of the beds. the rooms only had enough towels for one person, we had to request more towels on a regular basis and just overall lacking in what I consider the standard for what is necessary for customers staying in a hotel.
