Large room
With microwave and refrigerator.
Grab bars in the bathroom especially in the shower needed especially since I am a senior citizen. Your disable room was unavailable. The toilet was also too low. Your bathroom was an accident waiting to happen.

Free bfast was great.
No excuse for having NO OVERNIGHT PARKING on the premises for a $225 per nite room..!!!

The Clocktower has a variety of rooms. Their photos are accurate so choose your favourite. We wanted a large room with lots of windows and found it as pictured. It had hardwood floors and deep granite window sills, a Spanish Colonial vibe and great comfy beds with crisp white linens. For picky people, the cheap remote with Scotch tape repair and peeling non-stick in the bath tub might be occasions for a tantrum, but for us, the great draperies over the truly impressive expanse of graceful mullioned windows and sense of serenity and care about the place are what we noticed and appreciated, hence the exceptional rating. It is an exceptional place and one we will long remember as one of our favorite places.
A longer stay would have been nice.

convenient location
old and very outdated. it doesn’t seem like the owner cares much at all. property seems neglected and the bare minimum is done for upkeep.
breakfast was also very low effort.

Location ,breakfast ok.
Bathroom is so small you back up to toilet to close door and I was on crutches. Bathroom floor would not dry even thou we tried to wipe it dry. Pool was locked can’t get in with your key and front desk person was grumpy about opening door for my son.

The location was amazing and the staff was exceptional. Had a wonderful time. The room was spacious.
The bed was firmer than I’m used to and the room was a little stuffy but hey, we were close to the beach.

It was a great place to stay and I'm glad I found it we will be staying thier everytime we visit Ventura

Location. The hotel is a short walk from everything. Breakfast room is like an open air courtyard.

We liked the location. Walking distance to many shops and dinning options. The restaurant on site was good.
The hotel needs updating. Rooms and lobby were comfortable. You could tell the hotel hasn't been updated in some time. They have a nice Atrium where you can eat breakfast. Unfortunately the breakfast was just mediocre.

location
old and run down. homeless people digging in dumpster right out my window. the windows to the room were original to this place and had major gaps where spiders would just crawl through. there were two squished bugs on the wall when we got there. one was a huge spider.
