Only location was okay. everything else was bad
This was one of the worst experience I had with Hyatt. Poor service. unattended staff. 1 room service in 6 nights. Dirty. Only one elevator working. breakfast bad. coffee good. very bad experience overall

It was close to every thing and very clean.

The location being not to far from the VCU hospital and all the different stores being close by not having to travel out too far.

Breakfast was good. Nice selection, well cooked and presented. Plenty of food, no waiting.
Arrived Friday afternoon at 4:00. Couldn't take showers to go out for dinner as there was NO hot water and low water pressure. Tried to take showers morning but still had no hot water. We took cold showers! Came back Sat after noon to take showers before dinner UT still no hot water. We talked to other guests and they said that the water boiler was out and
We finally had hot water later that evening after dinner. Poor communication over all from Manger although the staff did the best they could. Manager was on premis but we were told he wasn't on the clock! Managers are always on the clock!!
Lighting in sink had poor lighting.
Shower was poor water pressure and in general, shower was outdated.
Closet bifold door would not slide. Air/heat unit under the window was not thermostat efficient and was very noisy.
No one told us at check-in that there was no daily room housekeeping or a note in bathroom area stating that towels would not be replenished unless you asked. I had to go down to the desk to get towels etc. as I had put our used towels on the floor. The front desk girl couldn't run them up as she was all alone.
Bed was comfortable.
Charging $5 a day fir parking was rediculous.
We had the worse expierence ever in a room of this dollar range. We are waiting to see what adjustments are made to bill.

Front desk staff on day one were very nice, professional. Room comfortable. Food was good.
I left a new medical thermos bottle in the room refrigerator. This thermos was brand new and contained several pens of diabetic medications. These meds are also expensive. I realized I left them and called back several hours later to see if turned into front desk or if still in refrigerator. The answer: no one turned them in and they may have been trashed. This cannister was obviously not trash, brand new. I had even left a small 5 dollar tip in room for staff, very disappointed.

The location was good. It's located near the University.
Even though the room wasn't dirty. It wasn't clean. The phone and night stand had noticeable dust on it. The closet was not clean. The room felt out dated.

Great place, nice staff, rooms are clean and there were no obvious signs of bugs. The breakfast was pretty good too.
The activity the hotel took on my card was overkill. Daily authorizations of over 1k seems extreme and unnecessary. The authorizations also take 1-3 business days to drop off. Seems completely unnecessary, they should've just charged my card once for the full amount (plus any security fees) and left it at that. Not run up my credit card several thousands of dollars. I had the money... but what if I didn't?!

the central location was perfect. this hotel was near EVERYTHING. the staff was friendly and very accommodating.
it was perfect. nothing bad to say. even for a Monday the breakfast options were hot and plentiful.

it was not a good stay. It wasn’t worth the price I was charged. There is NO restaurant! ! They shouldn’t advertise that there is!!! There is no bar!!! They couldn’t take debit card for payment for premade drinks!! If I could have cancelled I would have. They should be ashamed of the false advertisement!! I should be refunded! The room was worth $75…. cheap mot rate…..that was not the typical Hyatt!!!

The hotel has a wonderful location near restaurants and stores. The room was bigger than expected.
The shower door design was a little weird. It was annoying cause the floor was soaked.

Facilities look nice at first glance
Everything was dirty when you look closely. No attention to detail in cleaning. Layers of dust on the sconces (light fixtures) right above the bed. Dirt in corners. I was coughing all night from the dust. There were even crumbs in the bowl of fruit in the breakfast area.

The breakfast was okay, everything you need for a good meal. The staff were super kind and lovely. I felt well received, great and supported.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. The room was clean and very nice. The transportation to the airport was easy and we didn't have to wait long at all. We will stay again when we fly out of Richmond Airport.

I love how close it was to all my needs like employment site, shopping sightseeing ect. The cleanest of the room was excellent and not to mention the breakfast was so delicious.
