Room, Hot Tub, clean, breakfast

The staff is friendly, we enjoyed the indoor pool for much of our evenings, soap, shampoo and conditioner are conveniently mounted in the shower and smell great!
Our first room was on the first floor, upon entering the room we saw the fridge was leaking on the floor and it left a large puddle, our second room was on the 4th floor which made taking our dog out less convenient. The carpeted floor was pretty stained, dirty and sticky to walk on and the jacuzzi which was a bonus at first was not clean - brown and dingy and it had a very musty smell to it.

Breakfast was great. Some of the staff were really helpful. The place was clean. The bed was really comfortable.
The hot water to the shower took 20 minutes...this was a problem for us. The first night we were too warm despite turning the AC down. We didn't discover until the second night that the control was set to heat. This is not something that I appreciate having to do manually after a long day of driving. I would have assume that the room would have already been set to AC. The hallways were hot too. Couldn't find the ice bucket; it turned out to be by the wall under an end table. Are you kidding me?

The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing, fully stocked every day and had a large assortment of food.
I didnt like that the room posted was for 5 people but there were only 2 queen beds and we were charged for a cot.

The Hampton Inn chain has steadily deteriorated over the past decade. For the price of this room, there is no refrigerator or microwave. In addition, the ancient tiny television with very poor cable service. Furniture is old and shabby. We were extremely disappointed in the quality of the room.

Dog friendly
Charge you to bring your dog! My dog is WELL trained and clean!

Location
Didn't get clean towels. One of our had lipstick on it and it wasn't my lipstick.
4.1
Location was fantastic - within a mile from anywhere you needed to be - drugstores, restaurants, downtown. Always love Hampton Inn having tea/coffee 24/7... Indoor pool and pool area seemed great - even though we didn't have the opportunity to use it. Lots of parking - easy checking in and out. Great staff help that were engaging and had lots to offer in terms of advice re: what to do, where to go, etc.
There were 3 of us traveling and we had 3 rooms. 2 of us were on 2nd floor (202 and 203) and had peaceful stay - but our 3rd friend was on the other side of the building in a room where kids and young adults were up all hours of the night and considerable drinking and smoking pot happening ... she got very little sleep. In the future we'll insist on not being put in proximity to traveling sports teams, wedding parties, etc. But we should not have been split up in the first place - so that was unfortunate.

Every thing good
Had some neighbors who complained about our tv being to loud

The staff were super helpful, and the night desk man even gave my dog a treat.
There wasn't enough parking, but I understand the Days Inn parking lot next door allowed overflow because the two hotels are under the same management/ownership.

Very clean and very convenient to everything. We had our golden doodle and the time was convenient to letting her out and there was a lot of green space! Very quiet.
The shower pressure was non existent.

bed wasnt as comfortable as i'd hoped for, double bed room was small.
4.1
The room AC was extremely loud. The coolness was okay. Have never stayed in another hotel with the AC that loud.

The landscaping was beautiful. The flowers were colorful and in full bloom. The location is ideal to all the fun things to do in Williamsburg.
The staff was rude. There were people smoking weed right outside our window (we were on the first floor) and it was coming in through the ac. The hallway smelled like mold and feet. The room was very basic and the mattress was a little hard for my taste, but I understand that is a personal preference. Lastly, we went to breakfast, which at every other Hampton Inn is great, the options seemed limited. The lids were not shut on the entrees and there were kids eating at the serving areas and they were double dipping into the serving trays with used utensils. No thanks! We were highly disappointed with this hotel and the stay.

Good. More variety needed for a week stay.
No housekeeping at all in 5 days. Hot water takes 5-10 minutes to turn on.

It’s clean and very comfortable

Convenient to Historic Williamsburg.
The a/c was broke in the common spaces and hallways and it was miserably hot. Almost fainted walking down the hallway to our room. Kids ran wild from the pool and the elevator floor was constantly soaked. The bed was as hard as a rock. No fridge or microwave in room. Perhaps I overlooked this when booking, but for this price, it was expected. The shower pressure was almost a trickle. Also, I asked the front desk staff to borrow a pen to write a few postcards and apparently there was not one to be found in the entire place. Not a good impression and we will not be back. Probably would have been better off at the Days Inn next door.
4.1
cleanliness and location
the receptionist said that she couldn’t give me a receipt because I booked through a third party and I’m receiving a survey before I receive my receipt. this has never happened before when I booked through Booking.com. just a little alarming!
4.1
The front desk clerk was very nice and cordial.
The price of the room was very high not to have amenities like a mini fridge or microwave. The room was a smoking room which was what my husband wanted but it smelled old and stale. As if they had not used any deodorizers in the room.
We've stayed at other facilities less notarized than this and had better experiences.
4.1
The stay was almost perfect. It was clean, spacious and close to everything we needed including our parents. My granddaughter loved the pool and the breakfast was amazing.
I didn’t particularly not like anything about the property. my only suggestion is to update the tvs. It felt a little small for the suite we had and the cable kept cutting in and out. We didn’t get to successfully watch a movie but we weren’t there for that so I still give it 5 stars and it will be our go to hotel when we visit Williamsburg!
