Solid value hotel. Nothing fancy, but met my needs.

Solid breakfast (cereal, waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagel / muffins). Quick pickup from the airpoint.

Was a hair or two in the bathroom, so not end of world but not ideal.

Convenient base close to the airport.

Shortage of food at breakfast past 8am Cleanness bad in the bedroom, stained carpet and dog smell.

Disappointed.

The check in & main building looked nice. Breakfast was fine.

Black mold in showers. Stains on sheets. The building was not attached to the main hotel & was next to a shady apartment building.

Convenient to the airport! Quaint, homey feel. Nice room, very dog-friendly. Exceptionally attentive hotel staff, and the shuttle driver was terrific and *very* helpful & friendly. This is our 4th stay at Puffin and we really like it.

Stay in the main building and it is a nice hotel for an overnight to the airport.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room in the main hotel was clean and comfy so my numbers refelct that room.

The room on the add on building was small, kept up for what it could be for being old, and not so nice. We couldn't get out of the front of the building as the snow was not cleared--on their behalf this is on the street side so probably hard to keep cleaned. But the ice on the back entrance walking over to the building was dangerous(ok a thing in Alaska I know), but especially with luggage this was not fun. Really didn't like staying in this part of the hotel at garden level, wondered a about my safety but it was only for one fast night and we were out of there.

Airport shuttle was great. We got picked up within 15 minutes of calling to request the shuttle. They did have roll away beds available, and a few options for breakfast.

The bedding that came with the roll away bed had hair all over it. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. We also got put in the annexed building and it smelled very musty the whole time.

Got a good night sleep before a long trip. Would stay again if cost is within my senior budget.

The room was very comfortable, and the bed too! The staff were helpful, kind and professional.

I was in the annex and I decided not to go to the continental breakfast, because there were slippery spots and I had already slipped a bit. The shuttle driver had offered to drive me between buildings- so my bad if I didn't take up the offer.

It is good over all just small things that can be fixed

Breakfast was okay. I like the location because there are variety of restaurants in the area.

the room that I got was hot. the tv was not working. It took like 1/2 a day for the maintenance man to come fix it and the Celling fan switch was missing had too open all the windows to cool down the room and the shower or bath tub settings was backwards cool ment hot & hot was cool hope they get that fixed but over all it’s was good!

Rooms are always clean, staff is great. I always stay here! Within walking distance there’s a convenience store and a few restaurants.

Needed to request bath mat; mattress sag a little and maybe turning it would help.

My preferred Anchorage lodging near the airport

Good room Clean and quiet Free airport shuttle that arrives within 15 minutes The Puffin is my preferred lodging in Anchorage, but for those who need to be close to mid-town or downtown, you will need to rent a car or use Uber/Lyft

It's a good location for the price.

Worst experience I have ever had with a hotel.

Location is not bad .

Had an issue with housekeeping and front desk. Was not told I need to request a do not disturb sign. Had a incident that made me not feel too safe.
