Loved the location , beach and pool!
For the set up there weren’t many extras that we are used to. Hardly any silverware and cups, when you travel with family and kids plastic stuff to eat on is always a bonus! Not any games or any of the extras we have come to appreciate when staying in this type of set up

We had a pool and the beach. Easy to get to and awesome staff

Right on the beach! It was also a quick walk to John’s pass.
Elevator didn’t seem to function going down, got stuck a couple times for a few minutes.

The view was incredible from the room. This was the best part of the stay. Beachfront was well kept, and the grounds as well. The pool and hot tub were nice. The kiddie pool wasn’t used as the water was so cold. So children then used the hot tub. The staff were very nice.
The room had mold in it. Possibly black mold. The patio door had to be left open during the stay. Couldn’t leave the door to the hallway open. All clothes hung in the closet smelt of mold. Flying home, the lady next to me complained of the smell on me. She was sneezing and coughing. My CPAP machine had to be taken in to be cleaned. The tubing and mask had to be thrown away due to the mold. My clothes have been washed once, and still smelt of mold. . I’ve never experienced this staying on The Gulf in Florida. If I would have known this, would have booked elsewhere. Paid a good price to stay here. Front desk had mentioned that there wasn’t availability. So didn’t say anything at the time of the stay due to this. Nobody should stay in room 308!

Right on the beach and beautiful views all the way around! Location was great and close to John's Pass. The free (with tip) shuttle vans were great. Super happy with our stay!
I don't know what could have been improved upon; it was all good for our stay.

We loved this place! It is so unusual to find a hotel that does not permit pets and smoking. This was a breath of fresh air (literally)! The staff were all kind and helpful, the location was great and the facilities were clean and well maintained. Everything was perfect.
Everything was awesome!

Staff amazing very clean property and rooms.
The pool wasn’t heated but hot tub was nice and warm.

Location was amazing. Resort gives you a neat waterproof band that doubles as your entry to room. So handy and you never needed to worry about leaving room without it. Room had everything we needed and more. Cornhole was a nice touch although with beach and pool we never used it.
Nothing I can think of. Referred to at least to other families before we even left.

Well maintained and very user friendly. Love the pool area and our room had been updated. Great view of the beach and ocean
Parking spaces were very tight

No restaurant and bar on the property .

Amazing amenities and great location.. rooms with the best view!
Check in too late, we asked for a room at least at 3 due to a birthday party we were making as a surprise and it couldn't be arranged. I think sometimes is good to make exceptions.

There was nothing to dislike.

The pool areal was crowded and not enough pool towels

Good location. The 2 bedroom suite was nice.
For being in the hospitality industry, this place needs to learn exactly what hospitality means. The young blonde was fine, but the older woman working needs to be trained or replaced. She was AWFUL!
Also, if you're in a hurry, don't use their elevators, the slowest I have ever encountered. Our room was a studio and it was so small and not very clean, there was mold on the bathtub. The rooms had no carpet, and no way to keep sand out of your bed. No housekeeping either!
I wouldn't rebook at this location. I felt like my husband and I spent a lot of money for this place to make it a special vacation as our older children and their families joined us. There is only 1 pool, and it's small. The other pool is for toddlers and is larger then the main pool.
I don't smoke however my husband does and he had to physically leave the property to smoke. You were not even permitted to smoke on your balcony or outside. We actually witnessed them throwing people off the property and not giving them a refund!

Close to John pass staff friendly quit place. We will definitely be back to stay here.
Elevators slow.

beach is nice and quiet. privacy and staff.
Pool/spa area rules not enforced, limited/ tight parking, cleanliness. beach chairs and umbrellas not managed y property (separate fee $30! per day). this should be advised prior to booking allowing guests to make accommodations. No one wants to go to a beachfront hotel and tote around beach items. it defeats the purpose of paying more money.

Close to the beach.
Premium view 2 bedroom is not direct ocean front , there is another part of barefoot building in front blocking part of your view. For over $2700 for 5 nights I would book elsewhere . if you want direct gulf front the 2 bedrooms aren’t it. 1 pool is 3-6 feet deep the other(square) one is only about 8 inches deep.

Liked the gulf view and access to beach. Pool was nice. Staff was friendly.
Wish the pool had adult only hours as some families played football over us in the pool. Children were in the hot tub. Was disappointed that on the second day, the rooftop was padlocked so I couldn't get sunrise photos.

Loved the room and the room amenities. The location was great.
The fitness room was shoved into the laundry facilities room and was very stuffy. Part of the reason we chose this hotel was because it had a fitness room, but there was no indication that it was moved into a place you couldn't actually even use if someone else was using, so I feel we should have received a discount because of that. Another reason we stayed here was because there was a hot-tub, but it was also not working during our stay. The pictures of one of the pools on the website is also disceiving as it looks like a regular pool, but in fact is maybe 6 inches deep.

Very clean, really enjoyed my stay. Only complaint about Barefoot itself is that there aren’t a lot of little things such as dish sponge provided in the kitchen or salt and pepper. Other than that it’s really not a walkable area. You need a car to go anywhere, even to Jon’s Pass. Aside from that, staff was great, and the unit itself was great too! Would come back if it weren’t so expensive. A little over priced.
