Way too expensive for no service hotel.

Short walk to the beach is a plus. Walking distance to the stores and markets. Parking is a challenge, it’s basically first come first get the parking space otherwise you park on the street.

Everything is fine except they need to put more extra amenities, we runs out toilet paper, conditioner and coffee on our first day, we thought in the morning the cleaning ladies will clean our room and restock but never did. 😑 Luckily i always have everything ready for my family. For the high price we paid we expected everything is full service and completed by the staff. Like no need to throw our trash out ourselves 😏

very disappointing

Decent location.

No parking was available had to park 2 blocks away. Receptionist was very rude and unwelcoming. Bed had no duvet cover and felt like bed bugs.

Great location with the beach a 100 steps away. Lot’s of restaurants in the area within minutes from PB Beachside. Can’t go wrong if you decide on staying here

We stayed at the same hotel five years ago and it was our first choice for our stay this year.

No breakfast at this particular hotel but everything is a short walk away

The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

the tv didn’t work, the bathroom door hit the toilet when you closed it and there was no telephone in the room to contact the front desk.

I was looking forward to a nice room like the pictures online but the linens and carpeting were really bad.

Do not go to this hotel. It was the worse experience of our life!

There is nothing what we liked with the exception of the location.

We traveled around California for 3 weeks with our 2 kids and stayed in 14 different hotels. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had: - The rooms were not clean. They were dark and we had about 100 flies in the room. - There is a small courtyard in front of the hotel room where some young travelers (who were also staying in the same motel) were listening to music and talking loudly all night. - When we asked them to be quiet, they continued. This went on all night until 7:00 in the morning. - When we complained to the front desk (and had to wait 20 minutes for the person to wake up), we were told that this was a party area and we should expect something like this. - We were also afraid that the young group would do something to us as we did not get any assistance. - I cannot recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

This place was great and I look forward to returning!!!

The warm reception was great and the rooms were perfect with the most comfy king size bed. Loved the sitting area up on the roof and the amazing view of the ocean, even met some of the neighbors!!

PB Surf Beachside Inn is a perfect little spot close to the Beach and Restaurants.

PB Surf Beachside Inn is a 2 minute walk to the beach. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Close walk to Restaurants & Shops. Make sure to stop by and eat at Mr. Moto Pizza. We just parked our Truck and walked to everything. Next time we decide to come back to Pacific Beach. We will be staying here again. Also bring slippers, because the room will get sandy after a few walk down to the beach.

We stayed in room 109. Right next to the office and it is in the front by the street. So it was a little noisy on Sunday night. But Monday night was a lot quieter. Or we were just extremely tired from the night before.

Nice for a last minute booking but too small for parents with kids

I like how close it is to the beach and walking distance to all restaurants and shops. It was fine for a last minute booking since our airbnb cancelled on us 2 days before our trip. Staff was very friendly.

The room description/photos didn’t really match the actual room. There was no ceiling fan and there was no sink on the microwave counter. Bathroom was a lot smaller than pictured and the fridge didn’t get very cold. I booked 2 rooms, one had a dresser and one didn’t. Our bathroom sink was cracked and I don’t think the room was updated like the description stated.
