Location
Check in was beyond strange. The lobby was locked, could only enter a small glassed in area with a kiosk. Interacted with a person (not even sure that person was on the property) to scan your ID, put your credit card in, was charged a $100 deposit for incidentals that was not previously mentioned, a receipt and a room key card printed out. Was given my room number, but no instructions on how to access it. May have been able to use key card to entered locked lobby. Parked in back, rear door was ajar, went in that way.
For leaving, there was a basket in the lobby desk area that could be accessed once inside the hotel. Never saw an actual employee or staff member in person.

The room was comfortable and clean.
I thought the grounds needed some improvement....there were weeds all over.

We have stayed here several times. Great location.
The front desk person was curt, questions asked were sarcastically unanswered . Parking? "In the lot, "How do we get to room?" Elevator "
Charged a $100.00 deposit on room because we "didn't book through them. "
Better cleaning of room, there was popcorn and candy under edge of bed.

Clean, classy room, interior doors,
No breakfast. Breakfast room exists but is not operational.

It would be great if they would fix the west side door. Very inconvenient to have to walk to the front door to enter especially when it is pouring rain

The small sized room reminded me of the coziness of many European hotels, but the bathroom wasn’t also tiny. Very clean and comfortable. Mirrors made the room feel larger than it was.
Tractor trailer occupied many spots in the parking lot. The lever that switched the tub from lower spigot to shower head broke when I attempted to toggle it, so I wasn’t able to take a shower (one night stay, not enough time to repair before checking out).

It was clean, and quiet. The location is great in downtown Auburn, very close to routes 5&20. The price was good relative to the main hotel in the city, the Hilton. However, this motel was nothing special--no pool, no gym, no breakfast, no morning newspaper. Just a quiet, clean place to sleep at night. At least it did have Wi-Fi.
Noted above--lack of any extras at all--newspaper, gym, pool, breakfast of any kind, except coffee. Also the side door next to the only real parking lot worked only as an exit, although I was told it was supposed to let you enter with your key card, but it never did. This was fairly inconvenient.

TV was broken and kept saying the weather was effecting the reception but there was no adverse weather.

The room met our needs, was clean and comfortable, and was priced right.
The wifi log-in could have been communicated better at check-in (it is fine print on the key envelope, but no mention was made of it). The elevator was noisier than most.

The price was excellent. The room was clean. I love having 5 pillows. It is great to have internet services. It is just around the corner from where my mom lives, so the location is wonderful for me.
It took a little while to get checked in because I arrived at about 2:30 am, and the clerk said the computer system shuts down the previous day's business at 2 am.
