These Hotel's room is so quite and has an affordable rate compare with others, bed is so comfortable, its beyond my expectation !. Staffs are so friendly especially Sam. She's so helpful, helped me out and solved my online booking problem. Thank you, for sure we will return back to these hotel in our future visit. We strongly recommended everyone for these Howard Johnson location.
Pool still close for maintenance. Hopefully will open up soon. Maybe repaint front hotel for more attractive light color?

Location was nice. Room size was good.
Water pressure was low. Water temperature was low. No breakfast in the morning and was not made aware of that at check in. Parking lot did not get plowed in a timely manor.

Not a lot
It was dirty. No facilities, the room was not cleaned nor serviced. There were not any staff around, breakfast was very poor quality. Do it yourself, except that on 2 days there was very little available. Would not stay there again and only recommendation is don’t go.

That I booked this room way late in the day it still had to get cleaned

Honestly only the front desk clerk.
My room was dirty. There was public hair in sink, toilet, and shower. The toilet said it was cleaned with a paper band around it and there was poop and toilet paper in the toilet when I went to use it. Clientele was very weird. Lot was noisy at night.
For what I paid it definitely was not worth it. I'd rather have my money back.

The hotel was in a good location and in close proximity to the theatre we were there to go to.
The breakfast was minimal and didn’t suit someone with a gluten, milk and/or egg intolerance.
The room had dust on surfaces like the sink, and I noticed a blood spot on one of the curtains in our room.
Also the pool was closed and they didn’t know how long the pool would be out of service, only that it had been out of service for a few months.

The location was some distance from the route I was traveling, but I more or less knew that. The staff was pleasant enough, and the room was pleasant. Breakfast, which was touted, was only okay.
Breakfast appeared to be out of a lot of things, lots of empty places; there was no fresh fruit. The coffee was not very good. The place had a somewhat shabby look. The bed was not so comfortable. There was some noise at times.

Nothing to say.

Smelly as you walk in. Very dingy. Updates made were poor craftsmanship. Sheets and pillow case stained. Bed cover stained. Just felt dirty.

The drugs, drunks, and dangerous ppl. The police were called twice during our 3 night stay. The free breakfast wasn't very good. They advertised a pool, which was closed. Parking lot was HORRIBLE! Entrance door to our room was filled w/ppl smoking. The room smelled like weed and cigarette smoke. 4 men in the adjoining room next door tried breaking into the room. Guy at front desk said it was probably a mistake! Literally had all doors blocked off. Too nervous to sleep as we had a2 yr. old. It was one of the worst experiences ever.

the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
pool as always is under maintenance. The breakfast was funny. There was fruit loops and waffle. Coffee had no creamers. Just a jug of milk in the fridge.

the room was clean but the entire hotel smelled like cigarettes, the breakfast area was absolutely disgusting- hardly anything to eat- bread was in a bag for toasting, maybe a bowl of cereal in the dispenser, cleanliness was NOT a priority there everything was filthy- we left and went to eat at Perkins down the road- I cannot believe they pass any inspections there to serve food at that hotel. Perkins however was wonderful! ALSO upon checking in we see a sign that says NO POOL- maintenance which would have been nice seeing as we traveled with kids and that would have been nice to have on the website or I wouldn't have booked. I would pay the extra money to stay somewhere else- the whole experience at that hotel was just gross.
just about everything - see my other review above- this place should definitely looked into as far as serving food goes- there is no way they would pass an inspection- Go eat at Perkins down the road- that was wonderful!

I question it’s service - and room service
Desk Clerk got mad and threatened to kick me out - call the police - I was not hostile at all I told I paid for room - his response was so what
He needs to be fired - not first time of complaints of rude clerks there

The shower head was nice. The room was a fairly decent size. Breakfast is scarce but if you're in a hurry a quick yogurt, banana, and cereal are there.
The pool was dry. We were never told about it in advance and they are suppose to tell you. The faucet in the bathroom was VERY loose. Caulk around the tub could use a redo.

i specifically chose this hotel over another because I wanted to use the hot tub and pool. I paid full price for the room and both were broken and nothing was said. hotels charge extra for extra amenities and I couldn’t use them. I requested extra towels and never got them. they would have come in handy when the shower got the floor soaked from the spout spraying all over the place not matter how many times or how hard you tried just running the shower water would come from the spout. music from other rooms played loudly all night. front desk was empty most of the time, tried calling down and couldn’t reach anyone.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. This is really the only good thing other than having some needed down time with the family unit.
No elevator, wasn't notified of pool being closed, found mold in the room showers, found what looked to be pubic hair on at least 1 or more bathroom linens in each room, the stairs leading up to the second floor (near rear parking lot) are broken, room doors didn't self close most of the time, requested late check out and had confirmation still had to be out by 10am, the ice machine did not work, front desk associate wasn't at their assigned position they were always in the back room, breakfast wasn't great as the cereal was stale and the waffles tasted like the mix had gone bad.
I have worked in all aspects of a hotel (front desk, house keeping, laundry, maintenance as well as banquets) so yes i am particular about what i expect in other hotels. I will be reaching out to corporate with my concerns as well.

Bed was comfortable, temperature was easy to manage. Large tub, hot water.
There was no continental breakfast. The indoor pool was out of order. The dining facilities that were there were coated in food and muck. Then they tries to tell booking.com that I never showed up. Never going again.
