In a pinch it’s a decent place. Just be ware of the room choice.

Location was good. Nice clean pool and the pool area was safe.

The parking lots were awful narrow The queen beds are really a double bed. The room I booked didn’t look like the picture. I requested a ground floor and was told there were none at the desk. But I called from the room to complain and got moved to a smaller room still with a double bed.

Decent room, Fishy "standard procedures".

The location wasn't bad for a quick stay and an easy walk into Lake George.

The room could have been a little cleaner. I found potato chips under the bed and some random junk. I also didn't like that when I got there to check in, the staff asked for my credit card # as "standard procedure in the event of damages". I provided my CC#, which they wrote down on a pre-printed form, including exp. date & my security code, which I did not notice at first. A week later my CC was compromised. I've never seen this procedure at any other place I have stayed and, in hindsight, I should have called it out and declined. While the procedure is mentioned on here, I just didn't expect it to be written on a form which may not have been disposed of properly. Be prepared for this "standard procedure" and, honestly, look elsewhere for a place to stay.

didn’t like the fire pit was inside the pool area couldn’t use when pool got locked to make s’mores or anything should be outside the pool area. or the nice sitting area is inside the pool gates should be outside to enjoy more

Probably will not go here again. Not sure how this Motel had good reviews.

The pool area was nice

The room was very outdated. It had a musty smell to it. The room looked liked it was from the 1980s with stained green rugs. The walls had holes in them. The bed was lopsided so it felt like I was falling off the bed when I was laying in it. The nicest part was the renovated bathroom that you could barley fit in. Very small. Very tiny shower as well. The door didn't close all the way either. Saw quite a few spiders too. I only stayed at this motel because this was the only option left that was located by Lake George. Other hotels were at least 10 miles away. The motel also cost me over 300 to stay here one night. Was definitely not worth it.

Pleasant

The value was good but you get what you pay for. The bathroom was very clean with a new floor. Looked like the room was recently updated. The wood ceiling was beautiful

The decor was new,,all from Hobby Lobby but hung in strange places, nothing centered. The battery in the clock was dead. The floor moved when the neighbors walked and we could hear everything. There were no blinds on the windows and the curtains didn’t close all the way so privacy was an issue. The doors are basically plywood and the carpet has seen better days. The shower head was horrible, more a mist than a shower. The towels were very rough

The staff was great , rooms are dated but clean . Property is neat and tidy

The parking lot is in absolutely horrible condition, considering that some of the largest events in the area are car related , having a parking lot that is so uneven that exhaust pipes and runner bars scrap on the ground is unacceptable. Show cars running in value from $50,000 to $300,000 dollars won't and can't use that parking lot. 3 of the level parking spots out front were taken up by pickup trucks and blocked half the entrance to the lower parking area.

Great Staff

Bed very comfortable, great adirondeck look in the rooms, nice pool area, very accommodating staff

Could use a little TLC. A lot of peeling walls, but pricing reflects that I'm guessing. Also, pool area closes at 10 which locks up access to other side of rooms so you have to walk around which is very hilly in the dark it's hard for older people. Also they have the fire pit inside the pool area which locks up at 10. Doesn't really get dark u til 9 so doesn't give you much time to enjoy the 20.00 s'mores kit they sell. My suggestion move the gate so families can use the fire pit after pool closes

Unhappy

Room smelt really bad, overpriced, bed was not comfortable, had to leave early for a possible hurricane and staff wouldn’t accommodate us or give refund for the night we missed out on
