How Wyndham carries this property under its brand and calls it a 3-star hotel is a mystery to me. The room was dirty, the A/C didn't work. There were flies in the bathroom and holes in the walls and doors. One of the doors looked like it had been taped shut at some point.Thick layer of dust on the vents. After complaining to the front desk -- whom, by the way, we're very attentive and accommodating -- we were given the choice to look at another room, or a refund. The second room wasn't much better. The grounds had empty bottles, trash, and shady characters in the parking lot doing shady deals.

Absolutely disgusting, blood on mantle, no trash cans, trash all over property, room was not cleaned, cigarette burns in non smoking room mattress. Room smelled horrible. No hot water. Staff was rude and fighting with each other. Would not refund room.

Rooms are large.

All rooms have significant smoking despite any requests. Wifi is very slow. I was given a room that was being worked on. Hotel staff "did not receive payment" and I had to spend several hours dealing with them and booking.com before I ultimately requested a refund. This detracted from my trip, and I wasn't the only customer that seemed to be having this issue. Would not recommend.

Sheets appeared to be clean. Beyond that it was a bed and a toilet.

Dirty—hair in the sink, tub did not look clean, room was not clean, there was toilet paper thankfully, but no tissue, cup or even waste paper basket.

horrible, dirty place

very dirty. My sheets had blood on them. walls covered in marker and crayon. people using the facility to live in and has tons of trash bags outside their room doors. homeless man sleeping by the dumpster right next to my room. didn’t stay there. checked room and walked right back to get my money back. was only there for maybe 5-10 minutes, and they refused to give me all my money back only reimbursed some of it to me.

Room was spacious. location was very close to the basketball convention center we needed to get to. we felt pretty safe in the area after settling in. other guests and staff were helpful and nice. minimal to no noise, pretty relaxed area.

The grounds were pretty trashed. Our room wasn’t cleaned very well, lots of crumbs and even sharp things on the floor. They are dog friendly but definitely check the floors for dangerous objects so they don’t swallow them. no poop bags for the dogs either. We had no garbage can, no toilet paper. Sheets and towels had stains all over them.

One of the dirtiest hotels I've ever been at

I Don't know what their maids do because they definitely do not clean the place. That was the most filthiest hotel I've ever stated. Their facilities did not work right there was mud built up in the sink you're in all over the bath and the toilet V c's all over the toilet it was just downright disgusting I spent all night cleaning the room before I could even stay there comfortably

The fact that it was really really dirty of in that I would love the place it could be a really nice place if they would just clean it up and make sure their facilities worked right

Do not stay here. Spend a little more if you can.

The lady at the front desk was so great, very kind and quick at her job! Got me checked in and directions to the room quickly and she was so friendly. She could use updated equipment to do her job without the hassle for her, but she was a superstar with what she had.

Rooms are filthy, dried vomit on the floor and side of our bed. The whole place looks like it could fall apart at any moment. It has gone downhill so fast, it was purely disgusting. We stayed about 5 years ago it was a great place, thays why we came back. We will never make that mistake again. The dumpster were overflowing with garbage, we had to run to our room along with another guest because of loose dogs on the property, we were told the guests with those dogs "lives" there. Trash everywhere, dirt has eroded from the roots of the trees and they stick way up and we tripped over them. I could go on and on. The worst part is after our stay we checked the reviews, these things have been said for a few years and no change. Sad to see such a beautiful property that we had enjoyed in the past turn into such junk so fast.

It was the lowest priced option in the area.

It was in poor repair, with a hole worn into the bathtub. I also have some question as to the safety of the site as there was a significant police presence for several hours late in the night.

The whole entire room was filthy blood in the bathroom dirt in the tub blood in the tub cigarette buds on the floor. I purchased a non-smoking room. the room smelled like smoke there was hair on the bed stains on the bed holes from cigarettes being lit on them, bed burnt marks on the bed in the refrigerator. It was dirty as well hair in the refrigerator half drinking water bottle Q-tips and cigarette buds shoved down the sink and drains both in the kitchen and in the bathroom, there was metal sticking out of the bottom of the bed that I smacked my ankle on three times which resulted in a decent bruise the step to go upstairs was broken. All these items were reported to the front desk. They did nothing about it. They offered me no change of room. Absolutely nothing the Internet never worked. The TV didn’t work. A horrible experience would never recommend this place is environment wise outside the bedroom it felt like I was in the hood. I would never recommend here that very bad experience. there was also bugs in the bed and roaches in the motel room. again, everything was reported and nothing was done. I have complained to Wyndham and I haven’t heard back from them. I asked the staff to please come out on the first day that I was there to clean the bedroom or clean the room and they did not. I asked them again on the second day they did not everything from the TV to that room was reported and the staff chose not to do anything.

NASTY! Very unclean, NO upkeep. Will never stay at a Hawthorn Suites again.

NO trashcans, NO garbage bags, the room had been lived in without being cleaned. Thick dirt all over ceiling fan, Dirt all over vents, layers of dirt on fireplace, door handle torn off door, multiple light bulbs missing or not working, room safe ripped off the wall, NO hand towels, something on front of dishwasher, ripped carpet and dirty, dirty floors, burnt incense sticks on fridge. And YES, those are plants growing in the gutters (in the photos) NASTY! I've stayed here multiple times in the past and it WAS a great property. No more.
