I love that this property is small. it gives small hometown vibe. I love that the staff was just so attentive, so helpful, and so just overall amazing to make the experience much better.
I love the location of the property. I love that the peach pill with just a few steps. I love that they were restaurants local eateries, local tea shop, local bars by just to make everything not such a long drive

The hotel was conformable and clean. With it's location this is a great value and I'd definitely stay there again. The beach cove beneath the hotel is magical. The rooftop restaurant was a good time and the view was amazing.
The northern facing room was a bit noisy in the early morning, but Laguna has early risers. I felt as if the food and service at the rooftop restaurant could have been better, but I had a good time.

I loved the vibe, great culture and the diversity of the people that work there care about each other and the guest. you instantly feel like family. everyone was kind, fun and helpful. Great location to walk to surrounding restaurants, bars and galleries. Rooftop restaurant/bar is epic with good food and incredible view of the ocean. LIVE music in the front lobby every nite we stayed. LOVED IT!!!
Rooms are small so we could not double up in rooms. Heat and air was tricky to use in the rooms but the weather was great and I overheard the clerk say they were replacing units with a new system. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say. It feels like a historic building with lots of charm and character.

it is a great value for the price. Could see a beautiful view from the rip curl room. it’s not fancy but it is a good value and get access to the gym down the street for free, which is better than any hotel gym.

Great Location! The showers are amazing!
The only thing I could see needing improvement is the beds! They are a bit uncomfortable.

Everything, the room, had a great view of the beach. The staff was so nice and helpful. Bar and the roof were amazing. They had the best creme Brule.. I highly recommend and definitely will visit again.

location is great and the rooftop bar is awesome

The location was perfect.
I appreciate the doors being closed after 10pm for safety. However, even when there is someone at the front desk there is no doorbell. It takes sometime to get the front desk attention and you have to knock on the door very hard. That was annoying.

Location, rooftop and breakfast
Dirty carpet on the hallways, got an older room on the first bottom floor - cold with a portable heater that didn’t work. We later got one that worked.

it’s a very unique property. legendary
the rooftop bar is not run well - young kids not doing their job - they just don’t pay attention to the customers and they stood off at the end of the bar laughing instead of working - I go to the rooftop a lot as I live close - maybe it’s the season but they were awful

The View from the roof bar and restaurant is just amazing. It has to be one of the best spots for a perfect sunset. The food, drinks and bar service are superb. The staff at reception are brilliant and friendly.
The breakfast just restarted after a long time of closing. The staff are great, but the choice is limited. Would be great if they added a buffet and a decent coffee machine.

location was perfect for this trip
room was small and the bathroom window would not shut….. guess with the cool weather it was perfect but if it had been a heat wave, the portable floor ac unit might not have been enough.

We were celebrating our anniversary and had dinner at the rooftop lounge and Walk downstairs to spend the night at this quaint hotel.

The location. The staff at the front desk was friendly.
The hotel feels rundown. You could easily hear poeple walking talking in the hallway out side. The bed was not that comfortable.
You pay for the location not the value of the hotel. The restaurant staff at the wedding i attended at the hotel was stressed and did not deliver great service.

location
the rooms are tiny. no bedside table, the ac is extremely loud but most of all the bed caves in and the sheets are sandpaper.

No breakfast included. Rooftop bar was closed for a wedding. Comedor was fully booked for dinner.
Bed was hard and creaked. Pipes made noise and screeched at night. Bathroom ok. For the price it lacked comfort.
