The lady at the front desk was nice.
Cockroaches in the bathroom, and a homeless guy in the breakfast room. The location was a bit scary.

I think serving sausage links, potatoes and scrambled eggs, everyday and the option to have pancakes one day and waffles alternate, with the exception that toast/bagels, cold cereal, fruit and hard boiled eggs be great. And I most liked the fact this place did take cash. Most hotels DO NOT now days.
That the beds said queen online when booking, but they were really full size. Because a queen size could fit me with my two boys normally. Oh and I found a roach under the sink within the first hour of arrival.

very quiet.
no complaints

It has breakfast.
Didn't like customer service. I was charged two times for the same room. It's in a bad location due to violence in parking lot.

LOCATION WAS GREAT FOR OUR NEEDS. QUIET , AWAY FROM STREET NOISE. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND KIND. EASY ACCESS TO FREEWAY AND OTHER AREAS WE NEEDED TO GO.
SLIDING GLASS DOOR NEEDED EXTRA HELP TO OPEN AND CLOSE. WE HAD OUR SMALL DOG WITH US, SO WHEN WE WOULD TAKE HER OUT, WAS CONFRONTED BY OUR NEIGHBORS SMOKING POT. NO OBJECTIONS TO THAT, BUT HAD TO WALK THROUGH BILLOWING SMOKE TO GET OUTSIDE. ROOMS COULD USE SOME UPDATING AS THERE WAS WATER DAMAGE VISIBLE, ALONG WITH VERY WORN CARPET.
3.4
property was dirty and the rooms smell like cigarettes, sounded like there were 15 parties
3.4
Proximity to our activity
The place could use some cleanup and paint, the looks outside are decieving to what looks like inside, room was clean, outside looks rundown

The front desk person was awesome, really tried to sale the property
Homeless people around the outside, what appeared to be drug deals going on in the parking lot. The smell of mar Juana. People standing on walk area smoking around non smoking rooms

The main lobby was the cleanest area.
I reserved a “room with a view” and the “view” was of a back parking lot. There was a PVC pipe in the window to “lock” it instead of an actual window locking system for safety. We found numerous roaches in our room throughout the evening of our stay. Without going into too much personal detail we reserved this room due to the harsh weather and medical necessity. All of this was explained to reception and she still chose to put us in a room right next to a family that is living in the hotel despite vacancy and other room options. This family had numerous children that were in and out slamming doors, running through the halls, and yelling all night long. I was appalled at the lack of attention to detail when it came to how room service so called “cleaned.” The window had hand prints all over the inside indicating it had not been cleaned prior to us checking in. There was visible dirt on the window sill as well as bathroom counter and shower doors, along with a dried crusted substance smeared all over the bathroom door. In conclusion, I would never recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place to stay.

The hot water. How long it lasted was beautiful especially since I wasn’t feeling the best after an almost 3 hour drive. Breakfast was alright, basic variety. Two cereals, two kinds of toast, Activia yogurt and muffins. Quick in and out though for the stay.
The beds are extremely hard. And pillows way too soft. Neck and head hurt so bad I couldn’t sleep. Very uncomfortable. Walking around the room barefoot after a shower and my feet were black again. Crumbs on the floor by the bedsides. Shower had hair on the walls and in tub still. Heater wasn’t on to begin with. Once I got the room warm enough it took forever for it to stop heating.

Nothing. I asked if we could be upstairs to be safer and front desk attendant said bottom floor better. Pool was pretty but didn't use it.
Hard bed, sheets didn't fit and scratchy. Carpet filthy, ran out of toliet paper, they house transient folks. They have a security guard as location is Really sketchy. Police were there yesterday. NO NOT RECOMMEND. Hopefully we get our deposit back. Nothing was left other than trash in the baskets. The place made us very nervous but we were only thereb1 day and 2 nights.

Location was absolutely perfect for our needs. Close to family and restaurants. Room exceeded our expectations. Quiet environment really enjoyed our stay. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful with recommendations.
Would have liked to see in a little bit more of a variety for the breakfast. Toast muffins oatmeal hard boiled eggs really wasn't quite sufficient for what we usually get when we have stayed elsewhere.

The staff are AMAZING!! They go above and beyond for their guests. I recommend them to anybody staying in Modesto. Their hotel may not be brand spanking new but they have pretty much everything needed for any length of stay.

The staff were pleasant
The room had cockroaches. It smelled like bug spray. $10.00 was withheld from my deposit. The first person I spoke to said I was being charged for a missing towel. When I called again, after not seeing the refund, the second person I spoke to said I was charged $10.00 for a "damaged" towel that supposedly came out of my room. They claimed it was beyond repair. We didn't "damage" the towel. After receiving a photo of the towel I could see it was also not "damaged" but merely dirty and was washable. I only received my $10 back because the room had cockroaches. I brought my own towels from home for the pool, used make removers to remove my eyeliner, and we really didn't want to use anything in the room because of the cockroaches. I picked this hotel since the Wyndham organization usually has nice accommodations... even in Bakersfield, CA. This room was not satisfactory at all. I do not recommend staying here.

I like the location close to downtown. From the street, Days Inn looked really nice.
We were placed in the back of the facility, near troubled families who seemed to be permanent residents. We could hear the screams as wives or children were beaten in the night.
