Great stay fir the price. Always stay there when we fish in the valley.

Beds are the most comfortable in Bishop!!

Couldn’t wait to move on

Near center of town. Check in was simple. Room was a good size. Parking was tight but adequate.

Room took 3 hours to cool down to comfortable sleeping temperature. A/C unit was off upon arrival even though we confirmed we were about an hour from arriving. Ceiling in bathroom had an open hole. Bathroom fan was covered in dust and fuz

A wonderful vacation made even better by staying in a clean and spacious room at the Thunderbird!

The Thunderbird is my favorite place to stay in Bishop! I know the manager of the establishment very well and every time I see him he is always very friendly and accommodating! The double queen room at the Thunderbird suits my needs perfectly! My friend and I enjoyed some trout fishing in the area and the Thunderbird provided us with a clean and spacious room to relax comfortably in at the end of a long day of fishing!

Room was recently updated nicely. Hotel is centrally located in Bishop within walking distance to several restaurants.

i LIKED ALL OF THE RENOVATIONS MADE IN THE ROOM INCLUDING THE NEW SHOWER AND PAINT.

tHE ROOM HEATER WAS TO LOUD. I COULD NOT SLEEP THE FIRST NIGHT. ON THE SECOND NIGHT, I TURNED OFF THE HEATER AND HAD A GOOD BUT COLD SLEEP.

Exactly like we expected

Rooms were clean, staff was nice… the other reviews here were spot on so the few things that might have been a problem weren’t because we were prepared

They use a very strong smelling laundry soap, if you tend to be sensitive to smells and laundry detergent in general be prepared. It was strong enough that everything we took into the room picked up the smell and had to be aired out or washed to get rid of it

Wasn't very comfortable

Location. Fridge and microwave in the room.

Cons: A/C doesn't really cool, just blows air that made my nose close up. I had to turn it off, opening the window didn't help much. Pillows were too big and stiff for me, my neck hurts and I can't fall asleep. All hotels I stay (2-3 star) usually have at least 1 softer/flatter pillow. It wasn't cheap, I wish I'd go with a little more expensive option, but it would give me more comfort at night when I need to restore before/after 6.5 hours drive/15 miles hike.

There's no improvement needed right from check in to check out.

The room was super SUPER comfortable, very cozy and extremely clean. The bed was amazing. I would definitely book here again and highly recommend it to anyone passing through the Bishop area! Thank you.

Clean and remodeled

Recently remodeled. Nice beds and linens. Great, free wifi. Really close to everything. Small, but easily accessed parking. Friendly manager.
