We loved the walk-in shower. Could have used better water pressure.
One of our beds squeaked so bad we couldn’t use it.

1st room assigned had bugs crawling around sink/bathroom - night clerk moved us
Breakfast was miserable - only burnt coffee and milk to drink

Location was great. The staff was very courteous upon arrival and departure. You can walk to Cracker Barrel to eat. And most of all the whole place is clean!!
The only thing I would change would be to have more water pressure in the shower.

The first Lady that checked us in was fantastic. So kind and helpful. She deserves better than this establishment.
I don’t appreciate having to spend $83 to wake up with cockroaches crawling on me and in my bed. More cockroaches crawling on wall. Currently disputing my charges with the bbb. Upon further investigation there were alarming stains on bed skirt and trash under and behind bed. This hotel has merely offered a 15% refund; not acceptable. We deserve a full refund. We of course examined the room when we arrived after 14 hours of driving. Everything seemed to be ok. We went and got food and came back and crashed out to prepare for another long day of driving. We hurriedly gathered our stuff within minutes of waking and tries to talk the the new receptionist about the disturbing morning and definitely wholeheartedly expected a refund then; she refused. This is still taking up my time as we await a response from the bbb. I highly discourage anyone staying at this roach hotel.
I never write reviews. Yet here I am.

The choice of items was terrible.
More variety.

The staff seemed friendly. The decor had potential to be a pretty place. The upstairs rooms are accessed through the lobby instead of outside like many motels. Downstairs rooms are drive-up access, so there is a nice combination of whichever you want.
The place smelled funny when I walked in, since we had prepaid for our rooms and there was a no cancellation policy, I proceeded and hoped it would get better. Kind of like stagnant dampness and some cleaning fluid. It was a strange combination and I'm not usually one who notices smells. This was really strong. We went upstairs to our room and the hallway smelled very strongly of some kind of chemical smell and fabric softener, there was plastic on the floor at the end of the hallway (I think they might have been renovating those rooms too?) and the entire hallway was engulfed in a strange white fog - possibly sheet rock dust?. The laundry room was right there and it smelled like it wasn't being vented outside as the machines were going and the fabric softener smell was very strong. Our room didn't smell too bad so we went in and stayed in for the night. The dining room was under renovation but at check-in they said there was still breakfast in the morning. The next morning we went down to find that breakfast was nothing like pictured in the images on the site. Some coffee, powdered creamer, and a tiny refrigerator with a couple of muffins and little yogurts. As a diabetic there was nothing I could eat there so we skipped breakfast and went down the street to a diner.

can’t say there was much I liked about it
The hotel staff wasn’t very accommodating to our group. the shower drains was always stopped up. We had a group of 17 youth we was cussed out by a different guest and the hotel staff threatened to kick us out because of some other group that wasn’t a part of our group. the hotel staff didn’t bother to ask the correct questions.
When we booked the hotel it said there was breakfast and there wasn’t the on-site gym was closed.
the overall stay wasn’t good next year we will go back to the Holiday Inn Express

Nothing
The place was filthy, the breakfast was a joke and the staff didn’t care that we were dissatisfied.

The room was newly renovated. Good location. Good price.
The only thing I can say I didn’t like was the breakfast area was too small and not enough tables.

The room was clean and basically quiet. The bathroom was very nicely updated. The location was very handy to I-75.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The room first assigned to us smelled of cigarette smoke, so I went back and asked for a non-smoking room. The desk clerk kindly switched us to a new room that did not smell of cigarettes. The room was clean.
My husband and I had stayed here several years ago. It was not fancy, but very clean. We stayed in a room inside the hotel. I was not aware there were rooms that opened to the outside, which is what we were assigned this time. I'd rather not stay in a room that opens to the outside.
Also, the breakfast is mainly carbohydrates. There were egg and cheese burritos available to heat in the microwave. We had a bite of one of those, but it wasn't the best.

We have stayed here before since it’s right off of I75. So easy to find. It has been updated beautifully and it’s great value!

Nice bed, love the shower stall!
I had 2 roaches creep up around the sink area and the floors were very dirty and sticky! Breakfast was not worth my time! Pet fees are over priced by $100 more than most hotels! Was displeased!

I've stayed here 4 times. All have been great but this time my room needed a exterminator. Some small creatures crawling around.
