it was good!

The location is very convenient though on the busy highway.
My room was filthy. The carpet smelled, the sofa had black greasy stains and the rotted cushions looked like a sofa you see sitting outside to be carried to the dump. The bedcover was tattered. The bedside tables were falling off the wall and the headboard had huge gouges out of it. The sink counter was being held together with duct tape. I didn't dare go near the peeling, stained and leaky bathtub. The bathroom window was stuck open and letting in cold air so I had to keep the door shut and then the toilet room was unheated. I couldn't stand to stay all night so I woke up at 3 am and left. I don't know how they ever got some of the good reviews I read. This place is a pit. And I usually spend less than $100 on a hotel room so it's not like I'm used to staying at the Four Seasons.

Basic clean lodging close to Joshua Tree NP.
Room colors orange yellow mauve green bothered the wife. Pillows were flat (which I was ok with but the wife didn’t like). Bedspread and curtains were threadbare. AC directional vents were broken removed so air blew directly onto bed.

Proximity to the national park.
The facility could use some major renovation. The soda machine did not work, the linens needed to be replaced, and the office staff was not very friendly.

property is located close to town and only 5 miles from the west entrance to the park. very simple, but clean with good bed.
The traffic noise

Nothing
Very old no updates, furniture should have been replaced 50 years ago.

Staff was great. I think it was Larry? He was very helpful and kind.
Nothing really-its just what I expected for 100 a night. It was clean, and quiet.

It was very easy to get to the Joshua Tree Desert in the morning and it's an old style mood
We could here everything behind the wall

This place is absolutely great. It just keeps it simple, yet provides you with everything you need. You'll have a fridge, a microwave, a clean bathroom, a comfy bed and enough room to keep your stuff and still be able to move.
Check-in and check-out were super easy and the price is totally right for what you get.
Even though its close to the main road, its noise isolation is good and you don't hear the road at all.
Joshua Tree National Parks Visitor Center is just a short drive away, so this place makes a great headquarter for exploring the park.
Highly recommended, stay here if you want to go to Joshua Tree NP.

Very close to Joshua Tree National Park (maybe 5-10min drive to the gate).
Room was large and clean
Pillows are pretty thin

Friendly staff; clean; very comfortable mattress.
The dead-bolt lock didn't work, and the lighting was very icy eh white. Replacing the cool bulbs with warmer temperature bulbs would be a very easy and inexpensive way to make the rooms feel cozier and of higher quality. (I.e: kelvin temperature 2,700k to 3,500k*). Other than these small things, it was a very good room for the price.

Beds were bigger & cleaner than expected. Wifi was strong. Ample parking, quiet neighbors. Close to the national park & lots of restaurants.
Old piece of pizza left on the floor. Electrical sockets were a bit hard to access at bedside.

We thought the motel was closer to Joshua Tree Nat'l Park but that was our fault.

It was a pretty good stop and a night spent before we hit the Joshua Tree NP. The room had everything we needed, no complaints about anything. The hotel was pretty flexible with late check-in, no drama. We felt safe, it is a typical road trip stop on your journey to the next destination. Our room was a little bit older but still comfy. We slept well, although it was pretty hot and the AC unit had some time of its life over.
Nothing huge at all, everything was acceptable, a little bit older, but still OK. Do not hesitate to book your spot in this hotel, it will serve you well.

This was really good quality for the price. The place was clean and had all equipment (cofee machine, fridge, etc.) it was a bit too cold for us to use the pool, but i guess it may be nice addition in the summer. The location was perfect, close to the shops, 'city center' and Josua Tree park. Big safe parking and some recreation tables in the garden was also a plus, there was even some spot for a grill. I would definitely stay there again.
This is obviously not a new, modern, fancy hotel, but it has everything you need in the journey, so definitely does a job.
