We have returned to the Cloister for New Years now several times and to visit friends on Sea Island.

Breakfast buffet was outstanding and the service most excellent.

The management of the room service was spotty. The last day we were there, the room was never serviced. One prior day, we had to call to have the service because it had not been serviced, and we were preparing for the New Year's Eve celebration at the Oak Room.

Beautiful but ultimately disappointing.

Grounds and rooms are outstanding and well maintained. Location is beautiful. Enjoyed the beach.

Service could be more attentive. Dining experiences were good but not exceptional. Activities were prohibitively expensive. In my opinion, not really a good value for the money given what was offered.

we loved bing and walking by the beach but the property amenities were not as we expected it to be.

the history it brings.

shower in the room! water pressure. I could not wash my hair with that water pressure. the quality of food was not like previous times. we are more used to a fine dining. salty breakfast.

We are so grateful to everyone at The Cloister!!

We loved every single moment of our stay. We were there for four nights over New Years. Family of 5, 2 parents and 3 kids ages 17-21. Each of had a fantastic time.

I wish the Cloister sent out a copy of our Itinerary before we arrived, so we could make sure we had signed up for all the activities and meals that we intended to, for the right number of people.

We did not have breakfast The spa and workout room was great

The only thing we didn’t like was out of your control it was cold and windy out as far as the facilities they were great and the staff was wonderful

The staff were so genuinely friendly and welcoming. For being such an upscale hotel, it doesn't feel stuffy or pretentious at all.

The Cloister is a fabulous resort, beautifully run with engaging & helpful staff. The room was spacious & lovely. The architecture & landscaping are magnificent. It’s a very unique & special property.
