About this apartment rental
#This must be one of the most spectacular apartments in the village.
Most are normal single level, a few are two-level duplex, but this privately owned 120 square metre apartment extends over THREE levels.
This four bedroom triplex apartment is on the sixth floor of Auberge Jerome has a huge habitable surface area of 120.10 m2 set over three floors, and allows the apartment to sleep 10 in comfort.
There are stairs up to the breathtaking living room with really high ‘cathedral’ ceilings giving the wow factor; the mezzanine landing upstairs means the room is double height. There is a large kitchen and a long banquet style table that seats 8 - 10 people. The living area has an open fireplace adding to the character of this apartment with a difference.
The large balcony can be accessed from the living room and gives truly exceptional views of the surrounding Transarc Mountains.
BEDROOMS and BATHROOMS
GROUND FLOOR
This floor has a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a further bedroom with two single beds with a separate shower room and WC. A double pull out good quality sofa-bed in the living room provides comfortable space for 2 more guests.
FIRST FLOOR
The upstairs landing looks out over the living room and the wonderful high beamed ceilings, and leads two large twin bedrooms with charming sloped ceilings and a bathroom with WC, each bedroom with single pull out sofa bed, suitable for children or small adults.
AUBERGE JEROME
The apartment benefits from the use of 2 outdoor heated pools, jacuzzi as well as gyms and indoor sauna and steam room, all free of charge. (no towels provided though, so please wear your towelling dressing gown provided in the apartment or bring an extra towel)
New spa facilities are available in the next building (N.B.The spa is not free)
There is also cable TV, DVD player with lots of DVD's to choose from and free wireless internet access.
The village has underground secure parking, this can be pre booked and paid for online or paid when you leave at the ticket office. There is always plenty of space, even for more than one car.
2 secure heated ski lockers,
* Towels and linen provided.
* Shops, bars, restaurants, ski hire/passes and ski school all close by.
* Reception Desk open 24/7.
PARADISKI SKI AREA
The Paradiski area is one of the largest ski areas in Europe, including over 450 kilometres of pistes, 3 linked resorts with Les Arcs and La Plagne linked by the biggest cable car in the World, the Vanoise Express. Limitless skiing possibilities between glaciers and forests …and many leisure areas, 2 snow-parks, 1 water-slide , 2 boardergliss , 3 sledge runs, 1 half-pipe, 2 boarder-cross and many other exciting things to discover, not to mention the apres-ski!
My apartment has been especially furnished for families with children of all ages. I have invested in games, books, toys and even a Thomas The Tank Engine table complete with wooden train set.
Since the bedrooms are spread out over two floors it makes it idea for two families who want to lodge together but still have their own privacy.
There is a huge coffee table for board games in the evening, or just putting your feet up on!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic apartment in Arc 1950. The apartment is really well appointed and clearly lots of thought has gone into ensuring that guests have absolutely everything they need for a really homely stay. The bedrooms were spacious for our family of 6 and the beds were really comfortable. Access to the locker room for skiing was straightforward. The underground car park (which is booked separately) was also easy to access from the apartment. We loved the ski in /ski out location and the proximity to all amenities in the village. We also recommend using the click and collect service for fresh morning croissants at the village bakery, which saves queuing. Ski hire from Ski Republic was also really easy.
Lisa was always extremely prompt in replying to any messages and ensured we had all the information we needed for a hassle free stay.
A real great holiday experience.

We had a great week. The apartment worked very well for us. We are two families and have four grown up boys ranging between 18 & 22. The apartment is well equipped allowing us to easily self cater for the 8 of us. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect with easy access to the slopes, bars and shops and you really can ski right back to the boot room door. Lisa is always on hand via. WhatApp should you need anything.

Great appartment in Arcs 1950 with all the things available to have a great week. 4 separate bedrooms, bathrooms, a nice living and a small but efficient kitchen. Skilocker, sauna, outside pool and of course direct access to the pistes. We had a great week.
1950... very cosy village in the heart of the Les Arcs ski-pistes. Restaurants, shops, bars and rental locations; all high-end and located within 50-150 meters.

Cosy, warm, inviting - a PERFECT trip!
Spent the most glorious week in this gorgeous chalet! Perfect for families. Ski in ski out was a dream. Close to everything - great bakery, supermarket, cute cafes and restaurants. Lovely saunas, jacuzzis and pools. Great ski conditions right up to the last week of the season. And the Bulle Cafe was the perfect Apres meeting spot on the mountain. Thanks so much Lisa - we had the best time!!

Absolutely fabulous property! Superb ski in ski out location in the heart of Les Arcs 1950. Specious, clean and the Lisa was incredibly helpful during the booking process - highly recommended!
Will certainly be booking again.

5* stay thanks to a 5* owner!
A very rare find in the world of French ski apartments! Truly spacious...especially the 3 main bedrooms. The main living space, with double height ceiling is especially appreciated. Lovely cosy touches, including the cushions, rugs, large towels and bathrobes. Easy access to all the facilities of Arcs 1950 AND truly ski-in, ski-out...a very short hop from piste to dedicated ski locker! To be "picky" - and NOT owner's fault here - why why WHY do the designers of these French apartments assume that a small kitchen suits an apartment that comfortably sleeps 8+ ?! For a food-loving nation, this still strikes me as plain daft, after many, many French ski seasons and apartment rentals! Of course, NOT a problem if you prefer to eat out most evenings. Great stay, Thanks! Saul (UK)

A fabulous space for our group
Our group felt thoroughly at home in this super, well-kitted-out apartment. The location within the resort was perfect and amenities all good. The owner could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond to make things run smoothly for our visit. Thank you!

Ticked all the boxes
We have stayed in 1950 many times so knew the set up and resort well. Very quick and simple check-in. The apartment was well maintained and clean, it was also well stocked with equipment and a suited all our needs.
Bedrooms all of a good size with very comfortable bedding and good layout that was perfect for my family with 2 bedrooms on each level.
The 1950 resort is excellent for its ski-in, ski-out facilities and the apartment provide simple access to the boot room and slopes. The Cabriolet lift provides easy access to Les Arcs 2000 and although there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops in 1950 the 2000 resort gives a great addition to the variety and choice of facilities.
I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and it’s location.

We had a fabulous week in your wonderful apartment! I can't thank you enough for your hugely helpful communications and assistance in the lead up to our holiday, and everything was just a we hoped for (or better!). The apartment is brilliantly located in the village with very easy access to all the shops, ski hire and restaurants - and the ski in/out just superb. The apartment itself was perfect for us - clean and airy, very spacious bedrooms and all the equipment you could ever need for a weeks holiday right down to the capsule coffee maker. We will definitely come again if you will have us!!

What a truly great apartment . Really well kitted out and in great condition. The Bedrooms were spacious and the whole feel of the apartment was welcoming and lovely touches like the rugs and wonderful Chandelier in the sitting Room made all the difference . There are stunning views and the Apartment gets the important afternoon and evening Sun a must for me. What is also great is that the room where you store your ski's in is a step away from the snow leading down to the slopes . A true ' Ski in Ski out ' apartment . There is great Boulangerie literally a minutes walk away and a Small super Market opposite to the Boulangerie which is well stocked with ' day to day ' items. The Skiing is fantastic . Great for Beginners and Advanced . There are numerous great Restaurants and Bars . I loved my stay and would not hesitate to come back and recommend to anyone . Lisa is a great owner . Nothing is to much of a problem for her and her tips on where to eat out were invaluable. Many thanks .

Wonderful stay with a lot of snow!
We had a wonderful stay with two families in the apartment of Lisa. We arrived by train and took a cab to Arc 1950. The apartment is very nice and within the cozy village of Arc 1950. We could ski in-and-out from the basement. Because of the size of Arc 1950, everything was within a 2 minute walk. Because on one day we could not ski, we went to the outdoor swimming pool. Overall, we would definitely recommend the apartment to others.

Fantastic apartment in Winter Wonderland!!
Wow what a brilliant time we had!! The apartment was just perfect, spacious yet really warm ,very comfortable and equipped with everything we could possibly need, and had fantastic views!!
The children aged 4 and 6 years, both had what they called "the best holiday ever", learning to ski for the first time, and making use of the Cariboo Club, and the swimming pool, they both slept soundly after their days' activities!! The adults also enjoyed the slopes, the saunas, swimming and the apres-ski!!
We all cannot wait to return, and really do recommend looking for the perfect holiday to come here!
Thanks also to the Owner for all her help and great advise , saved us so much time, so we had more time to enjoy ourselves!!

Well presented apartment and a great location right in the heart of 1950.
A well equppied apartment. Cosy atmosphere especially when the fire was lit and gorgeous soft furnishings. It was an ideal space for our two families (of varying ages). The location was ideal in 1950 - right in the heart of it all but quiet as it is up on the top floor. The building reception / concierge were very helpful, and all communal areas (including recycling / bin areas and laundry) were all well maintained. Contact with the owner was always very prompt, and useful information was provided.

Amazing apartment for our family of 9 - 5*
This was our first time in les arcs 1950 and WOW we loved it
My family have skiied in avoriaz, Val Thorens, Bulgaria, Austria, Italy, Andorra but les arcs 1950 had the best of it all.
The 4 bed apartment was perfect for our family with easy access to everything.
My two stepsons who have hever skiied before took lessons with esf which met at 2000 every morning with easy access via the free gondola. My grandson age 4 also has never skiied and went to cariboo club which was located just outside our ski locker room and he loved that too.
Many thanks to our owner of the apartment who was extremely helpful with any questions we had regarding our stay.
Will 💯 be using this apartment again
Many thanks

Doorstep Skiing, Big Family Friendly Apartment.
Had a great week at Les Arc with my family and will definitely be going back next year.
Skiing was great and ski school for our little one was brilliant - Be warned, they don't let you stay and watch on the first couple of days, and literally force you to go while the kids are all crying, but if they didn't you would end up wasting your time and money as after the second day everything was settled.
Accommodation was perfect for our needs with clean well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. And plenty of space.
Kitchen had more than enough plates, glasses and cooking gear for our extended family and friends to come round.
The kids loved the activities put on by the village, especially the air board sledge party.
Skiing was really good with plenty of varied and challenging runs, also great for beginners. The highlight of the trip was when our four year old boy was skiing with us with the help of a ski coach that Lisa had helped us to book on the last day.
All in all a great break and would recommend.

Fab holiday, great apartment and location!
We had a fabulous stay in this apartment, it was perfect for us; two families with children. The rooms were all really good sizes, kitchen very well equipped and the apartment was spotless. The location was great, we took the eurostar from London straight to Bourg St Maurice. Lisa helped us plan the perfect week. The children loved ski school, sledging, and all the activities put on by the village. There are lovely restaurants and bars, however the apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing evening in after a day of skiing. The spa and outside pools were amazing for an afternoon of non skiing. Such a great holiday, we will definitely be back next year! Just a note, If you want to do the husky dog sledding, book early as it gets pretty booked up. 👌👌

Beautiful, spacious, perfect!
We stayed in this gorgeous apartment for a week in February & I cannot wait to go back again. It was my first ever time skiing so I was a little nervous – especially the fact I’m in a wheelchair & using a sit ski for the first time. Luckily Lisa was fantastic & helped us source a ski instructor which had all the necessary equipment & experience I needed so that I could fully utilise & enjoy our time there! There are steps leading into the apartment, but being quite an able disabled person I managed to get myself up the steps whilst my husband carried my wheelchair up for me. It was a slight inconvenience, but we needed the space this apartment offered & Lisa was great & took some pictures to show me the stairs & made sure we were happy before she would accept our booking! We stayed with our 2 children & our friends with their 2 children. Due to the layout my husband & I took the room on the main floor whereas our friends took the room on the upper floor. The kids were on the same floors as their parents but most of the time they kept switching around!
The views from the apartment were just stunning, it was wonderful to wake up & have a cuppa on the balcony overlooking the mountains! We all loved the outdoor pool & jacuzzi. We also went on a sled ride, took a walk in Bourg St Maurice & spent a lot of time drinking hot chocolate & eating some delicious food. The kids loved the ski school & they came on leaps & bounds from the first day to the last, when we skied to & from La Plagne (we hired a private instructor for the kids, along with my one).
My husband loved the ski in-ski out facility, meaning he could store all of his stuff in the lock-up on the ground floor of the apartment. Having been skiing before he said that the slopes at Arc 1950 were some of the best he has been to.
The après ski was also fantastic, it was very child friendly so we didn’t mind spending a couple of evenings in the restaurants & bar with the kids until it was their bedtime. I didn’t spend too long on the slopes as I got cold & tired easily, so I took advantage of the other activities going on around the village. The spa was lovely & I utilised that a few of the days whilst the rest of my family and friends were skiing.
I would highly recommend this apartment & village to my friends & family & we’re planning on coming back again soon!
Thank you Lisa for being a brilliant host, I will be in touch soon regarding a booking for Summer (fingers crossed you have space this year)!

Had a fantastic week at this beautiful apartment with 3 generations of my family. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay - room for little ones to play, open plan living for cosy meals and evenings with family, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone and so much more. The 1950 Village has loads going on for the children and family friendly restaurants and cafes. The ski-in-ski-out resort also caters for the non-skiiers in our party - such as myself!! - and I found plenty to do with my cable car pass - down to Arc 1600 and 1800 and Bourg St Maurice and up to Arc 2000; walking around village and down to 1800; swimming in the outdoor pool; delicious hot chocolate and sleigh rids - all with the knowledge of having a lovely base to go back to after a 'hard day in the snow'!!
The skiiers amongst us tell me they thoroughly enjoyed the ski access and also did some cross country skiing as well. The children skiied too and, like me, enjoyed the sleigh rides and hot chocolate - as well as all the other activities put on for them.
Can't wait to go back - and also want to try it in the summer, which will be a totally different experience.

Beautiful apartment, Best location, Lots of snow
I recently stayed with my family in this beautiful chalet apartment in Auberge De Jerome, Les Arc 1950.
It was the last week of the ski season and we were pleasantly surprised to see that there was plenty of snow, even in the village, despite the sunny weather.
Lisa was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything going on nearby and in the village. Nothing was too much trouble to ask. We had a wealth of knowledge and a list of things we wanted to do before we even arrived.
My family were able to ski every day whilst I took the lift and met them on their way down at one of the restaurants. This meant I was able to watch all the skiers and snowboarders fly down the slopes with the majestic Mont Blanc in the back ground, whilst enjoying a delicious drink and meal.
The apartment itself was amazing and surpassed all our expectations. There were 4 double bedrooms, 1 with an en-suit and the other 3 bedrooms having a bathroom, shower room and separate toilet. The lounge had a double sofa bed although there were only 8 of us so we didn’t need it on this occasion.
All of the rooms were spotless and well maintained. They were also well equipped with plenty of bedding, towels, etc. The kitchen had everything a family or friends of 10 would need should they wish to have all meals in the apartment, the restaurants in the village are quite expensive so it's nice to eat in a few times especially when there is a large group of you!
When we booked I had no idea that it would be possible to ski from the slopes right up to the ground floor of the apartment in order to leave our ski’s and boots in the apartments private lock-ups right next to the slope. This was an added bonus for us!
We were so happy with our stay in Les Arc that we hope to book again for later in the year, possibly December if the apartment is free. I would without hesitation recommend this apartment to relatives and friends
