Nicht so ein Hotelklotz! Wir hatten einen Wohncontainer mit 2 Schlafzimmer. Ordentlich und zweckmäßig! Gefrühstückt haben wir im kleinen Café nebenan.
Teppichboden im Schlafzimmer ist einfach nicht hygienisch!

Great staff -good recommendation of local places and also lit a fire for me at night, great warm tipi huts, clean bathrooms (maybe because no other occupants).
No headboards on beds made for an uncomfortable night. Housekeeping (young kid) was very loud outside and yelled housekeeping and barged in the tipi in the morning waking me up. He apologized, he thought the tipi was empty. Then it was quiet again outside.

The management was very friendly and helpfull
The sleeping in the tippi tent was far beyond our expectation. The location is next to a busy road. We booked for two nights however one was enough.

The views surrounding the motel were amazing!

Location is great if you are on a road trip.
As other people say, it is quite loud at night due to lorries passing over.
The net for mosquitos inside the tipi was broken.

An interesting place, not far from the entrance to the Death Valley. RV park with some trailer-alike rooms and tents (teepees). Great landscape around. The room was quite cold and dirty with mould on the ceiling and in the shower. WiFi worked only near the cafe.
no breakfast included, poor internet, overpriced, food in the restaurant bad

Different to stay in a tipi, we were grateful for the electric blanket!
The tipi door was broken and barely closed. it was freezing and just an uncomfortable night. Bathrooms were very poor and there was zero facilities otherwise at all. Nothing in the town either. Very overpriced for what it was!

The Family room was perfect for our family of five. The property was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The kitchen was very useful for making a simple meal. While there was salt and pepper you'll need to bring everything else such as cooking oil and other spices.
There were issues with the oven in our property.

The location is beautiful and the price is excellent.
The tipis cannot be locked and the floors are dusty and dirty.

awesome experience, real tipi made by natives, really cute area, clean bathrooms, enjoyable heated beds
no laundry room (when it says there is on the website), toilet paper was empty and not changed for the two days we were there (meaning not cleaned I guess) you have to be ready that we hear the cars super loud and it gets super cold ( the heating system isn’t enough) location for Death Valley is ok

the teepees and staff
everything was good

Came the long way from Austria, and the stop at Olancha was worth the way. Cute cosy Tipi, the most comfortable bed and heated blankets. No frozen toes possible. Stop by and enjoy it.

it was cool staying in a Tipi
Prices of food absolutely ridiculous for the quality.

The room was clean and comfortable. The ac was already running for us. The pool was great. We had everything we needed and plan to stay again
The outside was shabby. There wasn't trash, but peeling paint and broken fencing. We were afraid what we would find behind the door of our room, but we were pleasantly surprised.

The place was cute and the workers there were trying very hard to maintain the area. They were very accommodating and ready to help with whatever they could to make the stay comfortable. The day time temperature was easily 105 a bit hot outside, but after the sun set, the place cooled down for a very nice evening. The pool was old but in good shape and was a nice way to cool off. Olancha was located just outside of the Death Valley National Park. I liked the location. Someday soon this place will be amazing, however it is a work in progress.
It is a work in progress. Projects were in the process of getting completed. I would describe this place as rustic a work in progress. The mobile homes were nicely decorated on the inside and everything worked, and was comfortable. However, the outside of the mobile homes you could see the air ducts, old wires, and stuff hanging down from the bottom. Maybe some skirting would remedy that, but it looked like animals could live under there.
The AC unit was undersized to cool the entire mobile home so we blocked off a room and all slept in the room. It worked out nicely. I used the comforter from the bed on a small couch to sleep. I'm 4'11 so it was okay for me. The other two adults slept in the king bed.
The teepees were cute but hot during the day ( It was July 2022, in the midst of the hottest summer). Coolers were all that was available to cool them, not AC like the description of the teepee stated. The one we rented had a swamp cooler, that was not working properly. They tried in earnest to fix it at 9:00pm, and finally did get it fixed. I checked at 2am and it was very cool inside the teepee. They should keep the cooler running in the teepees during the hot weather. For the other teepees, they hand you a bag of ice to cool them. I do not think this was in the description of the place.

The atmosphere is amazing and the staff very nice and friendly
The sharing showers are old and a bit dirty.

Beautiful spot, sleeping in a teepee, clean beds
Price for the accommodation and breakfast/dinner,
the road is near, so we could hear trucks all night

The Idea of sleeping in a tipi is great and it is a cool place too stay. Also it is not far to enter death valley.
The employees we met was unmotivated.
It is nothing serious but the tables aren‘t wiped and there was only toilet paper in one restroom for our stay of two days. And they are telling me they have nothing to do…

The 'room' was a tipi and which was quite fun. The scenery was epic - desert valley plain with mountain ranges on either side.
The location really was awful - so close to the 395 which is no quiet desert road but a full-on truck route. It is very difficult to get to sleep with a truck going through every few seconds. Each one takes at least 20 seconds between first hints to max volume before fading away. For good measure some trucks veer onto the rumble strips for extra noise... or they have a wonky tyre (tire if you are from the States!) which means they are even louder.
The beds had electric blankets but only one worked.
The booking stated we could get diner for £12 and breakfast for £9 but when we tried to do this the lady (who seemed to have had a very very long day dealing with bookings and running the cafe) said she knew nothing about this but, to be fair, did give us a slight discount.

The bed was comfortable, the tipi has enough space. Car park next to your tipi.
Noise from the street, dirty toilets and some of them no hot water at all. The place looked a bit unprepared for our arrival.
