I like that the people are very friendly and helped me locate a crib for my toddler as well as clean towels
The things I didn’t like we’re being overcharged several times now I have to go through my bank and file fraudulent acts as well as fraudulent notifications to booking.com for this hotel because the staffing overbooked my account six times, and I have the proof on my bank statements, and I only stayed and paid for the weekend Friday through Saturday and then when I got there, had to pay for an extra day because I forgot to book it but they overcharged my account six different times now. I have to wait to get my money back for fraudulent charges due to your employees At the front desk, mainly the night crew

I did not like the breakfast. The coffee taste burnt and it was crowded in the dining area.
This was a last minute trip so my husband had our credit card. Therefore I had to have him email info for us to even be able to stay after we had already put payment through. Staff was not helpful at all

The hallway on the second floor was stained and smelt of Stale cigarette smoke. My room had a lot of dust and little black flies. The front desk overnighter was un pleasant.
The cleaning could have been alot better.

Hotel main entrance was not easily accessible. Parking lot was not plowed very well lots of Parking spots were full of snow and lots of ice.

The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious.
We noticed on the day we were leaving that there were dead bugs under the sheet of the bed. The windows were left open at the top and the room was freezing when we got there. The staff were not dressed professionally. Some in sweatsuits. They were not friendly either. The food left a lot to be desired. The eggs were cold. They ran out of pancake batter and did not refill the machine. The same with the coffee. The water for tea was lukewarm. The toaster only toasted half of the English muffin. Very disappointing.

Check in was easy and staff friendly and competent.
Noise in the hallways. Children were talking loudly and giggling until 1AM in the morning. (Probably gymnasts attending an event at the sports complex that's a 5 minute walk away.

the bed was comfy!
Entering the property (outside lots) were in disrepair and many areas gated off. Very outdated interior, and strange smelling building upon entry. The man who checked us in was not personable at all, barely spoke!!! Not a very warm welcome. Anytime i left or entered the building it felt like they were “watching” me suspiciously, which creates a very uneasy atmosphere of the type of people they must be accustomed to hosting. The elevator jolted upon entering it, which was scary! Walking the hallway to my room, the entire floor smelled of marijuana. Extremely unpleasant for a non-smoking hotel and it’s guests!!!
It was a very comfortable bed in the room, apart from the platforms that hold the mattresses. solid wood that i kept hitting my shins on when walking close, as it sticks out further than the mattresses. The bathroom sink drained remarkably slow, although the water pressure was great! Mirror and floors were dirty however, housekeeping could be more thorough throughout.
Given the lackluster property, and it no being genuinely close to any food or entertainment… I say the price I paid with the $50 deposit was stationed at a higher rate than I expected for what I got. However, I was pleased with the location as it suited MY personal needs, being almost next to my significant others location.
This place has amazing sprawling property. They have tremendous potential here, its a shame to see them not invest in it more. It could really make them some money with some TLC!

Belinda,
They made the reservation for the she wrong date at the counter and after switching to the correct had the audacity to try and charge the full rate for a cancellation fee the manager on duty stated would not happen. at the time of the transaction booking.com had no cancellation fee so we both, the manager and myself , proceeded with the transaction for saturday night. On monday i see a a cancellation fee charged and when i called to facility they were rude, said no manager on duty, too busy to talk with me and wanted me to utilize email to proceed. Unacceptable.

Table near the sink/fridge. Staff was good.
It would have been nice to have a lamp/light in the couch/table/fridge area.
