This Inn was not ADA compliant and that was. It advertised- we had to go to a different hotel and pay twice. Very disappointing

When I first looked at the facility, I paused, because it looked like a "no-tell motel" and wondered if it would be clean. After hearing from the owner that he had taken it over only six months prior, I was very impressed at the strides taken to improve the image and purpose of the place. It's a great location for the ski areas nearby, and is probably lovely in the warm months as well. Very family friendly, pet friendly, and accommodating to whatever needs or requests a traveler might have. Fresh nutritious foods are provided for breakfast. Fantastic mattresses and pillows.
Things that made me a little sad were merely circumstantial, little things that are shaking out as Joseph (our host) works through odd problems that arise. I was locked out of my room due to a key malfunction, and it was a rather comical journey to get back in. There were housekeeping issues, like the beds hadn't been dusted under and my pet was coming up with strange hair and other dirt. When brought to Joseph's attention, he is ready to make these things right.

I stayed in a room that looked as if it hadn't been remodeled since the 1960's. It had a bad smell. The bathroom porcelain was chipped. It was seedy.

The room was very comfortable, lovely sound of a waterfall outside. It was not on a busy highway. The breakfast had multiple options, fruit bagels toast, yogurt and was a bright cheery breakfast room.
No complaints from me, I would come back here for another trip to see the Vermont fall festivals or the (Williams College) Art Gallery a short distance away with the reputed Renoir (?)collection.

Room was cute, bed comfortable, nice breakfast and breakfast area, 15 minutes from Jiminy Peak, 15 minutes from Williamstown. River behind property , the water running makes for a nice sound. They set up a firepit in the back. I did not use it but it was pretty. Basketball hoop in the back of property.
If there are cars parked in the back you have no space to play basketball. I made my reservation because of the picture of the pool. It was unpainted, water looked green, unusable. Person who works there stated they will be painting it soon. They need to take down the picture or state no pool at the moment.

If you’re reading this then you’re looking for reasonable pet friendly accommodations in the Berkshires. My wife and I love our weekend jaunts and know what to look for when booking a room, and we couldn’t have been happier. Originally booked for June, we had to postpone our stay due to a last minute scheduling conflict and chose instead to stay the week of our wedding, sort of a mini honeymoon. This was fortunate because the place fell under new management shortly before our stay. Manager Joe Gerardi is a very new broom and GREAT guy. We loved listening to his ideas for improvements. One morning we awoke to find that he had a fire ring installed out back. When he learned we were newlyweds he went out of his way to make our stay more like a honeymoon, even cooking us dinner one night (for real…wine too.) Good cook…turns out this ain’t his first rodeo. Between Joe and the other guests milling around at breakfast it was nice to be in such cheerful company and worth staying an extra night- hey, you only get married twice.

It was conveniently located near our event.
Though it looked as if they cleaned the room, the bathroom was old, tiles were falling off the wall and the vent above the bathtub was sticking out. The bathroom in our room did not match the pictures online. The refrigerator was plugged in, however when I opened it, there was a fowl odor and the inside was warm. The room smelled liked mildew and there was a dehumidifier in the room, I went to turn it on and it was filled with water, I had to take it to the bathroom to empty it. The tv didn't work. There was dirt behind the chairs. The pool water was green. We did not feel comfortable staying here and left after only 3 hours. Luckily we found a hotel near our destination that had a room. We didn't even ask for a refund.

Pool was not clean

Beds were super comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to find, easy drive to MassMoCa
We were absolutely good with the vintage feel of the place, but this is not the place for you if you are looking for a Marriott-like atmosphere. Retro feel extends to decor, complete with actual keys for the door to your room, but beds were comfy and mattresses were great and seemed to be new.

The bed was good. We liked the stream around the place. The breakfast room and breakfast were very nice. The staff (family) we met were very nice. We liked talking with them, and they were very helpful
Our room and bathroom were really small, dark and run down. The amenities were less than we expected. The location - right on the road was not what we had wanted. The room needed to be updated.

comfortable bed, nice breakfast area and I appreciate that they use real plates and cutlery, much more environmentally friendly than the styrofoam and plastic you encounter so often at such places.
Pool area was filthy, chairs overturned, mold on everything. Spiderwebs and hornet nests on the gazebo. The outdoor areas were not at all well-maintained or comfortable.

Upon arrival the toilet was not working and the room smelled of urine. We spent the first day buying sheets and cleaning products at the local Walmart. The sheets on the bed were like fine grade sandpaper and the room was filthy see photos below.
The property was beautiful but extremely run down the pool area was uninviting to say the least! We skipped breakfast as the filth of the room made us not dare to eat!

Breakfast room and free breakfast were both great. Nice little stream and gazebo out back. Dog friendly, and great place to walk dog behind building, away from traffic, along stream and woods.

The owners were very generous in leaving plenty of breakfast and extra snacks and water and coffee for me . The room was clean and quiet, the Roku television was excellent . No signal on my phone in this area but the hotel’s WiFi worked great so that I could do zoom lessons, FaceTime calls, etc. The owners are very nice !
