We saw a shark in front of the hotel which was very cool. The room was nice, had everything we needed.
Mosquitoes, mosquitoes and more mosquitoes. This was my first trip to Fort Myers. Maybe it's just the area. Also the beach area is very small.

The view was spectacular and breathtaking. The living room set up was just fascinating with a triple sliding glass door that leads to a screened in balcony overlooking the gulf and Sanibel Island. The sounds of the waves were so close I could envision my feet in the water and sand while standing in the balcony. This was a life long memory and relaxing stay. Looking forward to returning.
The Pool was so clean and tranquil, A Great restaurant on the Marriot resort next door. Menu Fav. Lobster tails with Mac and cheese, Quesadillas.
The Bait Shack is a must, which has great live entertainment and super large Onion Rings, Paella, Great burgers and wings with a great second floor view of the gulf all with great pricing.
Great stops in Old San Carlo pier in Estero beach.
Naples Zoo, Tin City, Vanderbilt beach, amazing mansions by Naples shore. And more all close So much to do
There were no USB ports to plug in chargers which in most establishments today is Standard.
The guest bathrooms hot water system was set low I guess to avoid scalding but would not be suitable for winter months.
The guest bathroom sink faucet had a minor leak that should have been repaired or replaced.
There were no courtesy coffee or tea bags.
We were awakened by a false fire alarm that worked exceptionally well at 1 am in the morning to evacuate the building for 15 min.
(Their were upgrades done to the alarm system done earlier that day)
But it was comforting to report that it is loud enough to wake everyone and had voice commands to properly give instructions on what measures to take.
A little bit of a nuisance but acceptable to ensure guest safety.
Master suite drapes would not overlap to close out morning sunlight 100%
This unit was clearly has exceptional high end design for the 90s but is in minor need of some upgrades the ones I would think need attention.
1. Motion sensor light switches to help conserve energy. Upgrade noisy bathroom fans to new quiet or auto order sense fans. 3, Upgrade louvered doors to beauty upgraded solid economy doors. Upgrade toilets to handicapped height for ease to handicap and elderly customers.
Upgrade 32 inch living room flat screen TV to 55” inch or better.
All in all this is still a grand location to stay at, I could see myself returning frequently.

Security was great. People at the desk were very helpful & kind. The location was perfect for what I wanted, quiet, peaceful, private and close to restaurants beaches & kayaking. Perfect vacation during a pandemic. Very clean & I'm a nurse who looks at every nook. We are considering booking next year. My kids said it was better than Disney. The sunsets were incredible & watching dolphins & manatee with a cup of coffee on the beach made me want to move there.
The door lock was very sticky. The water pressure in the shower could have been better & the faucet to the shower did not work properly. Pillows on sofa need replaced.

property has gorgeous views and a lovely quite private beach for guest only! The buildings are in immaculate shape (I'm a contractor so i notice these things). Having access to the Marriott pool and spa next door was a huge bonus as the main pools and hot tub for our building closed at sunset.
pools close to early, food at the resort as well as its serving staff were horrible and very pricey.

The condo property was very well kept. The private beach while small was perfect for a relaxing get away. The pool area is very nice with ample chairs and clean restrooms. The condo, #714 was very spacious and clean with a fantastic view of the bay. The screened balcony has a nice table and chairs for 4 and very private. We had plenty of linens and were provided separate beach towels. The appliances were all modern and in good working order. The condo was easy to access and we were given good instructions for our stay.
The condo decor was a little outdated but still in very good condition. Really probably not worth mentioning!
