It was a beautiful location with clean, spacious rooms. They also have an incredible restaurant attached that’s highly rated. Lastly, their staff was top notch.
I wish there was a small table and chairs in the room to eat on. I also wish maybe a glass of wine came with the $100/person meal at First & Oak as it would’ve felt more of a value plus it would’ve highlighted the house wine without having to send us 15 mins down the road.

Great location! close to everything but is in a tranquil part of town.

Excellent location in the heart of Solvang!
The hotel is certainly on the older side. I wouldn’t mind, but the shower has low pressure, bathroom sink is small for two people sharing, and the air conditioner is a bit noisy especially during the night.

The restaurant and staff were great ... and the entire facility was spotless. We, however, stayed in Room 10. It was WAY TOO SMALL for two people. And, it is located on the third floor which necessitated ... even with the elevator ... climbing stairs to get to the room. (We don't travel light and our suitcases were heavy ... not to mention carrying a number of bottles of wine we had purchased on our trip in the wine country.) I would recommend the Marabelle hotel if you can get any room but #10. The location to Solvang is perfect and the 1st and Oak restaurant is very good.
Room 10.. just entirely too small.

The Inn itself was very quaint! The staff was VERY attentive. The restaurant was excellent. The shower was excellent - large and well lit. The facility was very clean. There was wine in the room if you wanted to partake which is a nice touch. My mom needed a step to get into the bed which was a bit high, and they found one for her, which was lovely.
There were 2 steps to get into the bathroom, which we knew about before going. I was travelling with my 91 year old mother. A handle to hold onto would have been nice. The toilet was a bit low. The two chairs in the room were a bit rickety. I think there was a concert venue nearby and we could hear them, but it wasn't a problem - it didn't go late.

The property was ideally located. Within walking distance to everything we wanted. The rooms were clean and staff friendly and very helpful. I liked that all the rooms were unique and had their own personality!
Coffee maker would have been nice but staff got it for us.

We did not have breakfast. Thought it was included but did not appear it was so we went out for breakfast. The location was great, close to downtown, short walk from everywhere
The mirrors were too high to be useable. Room only had one chair & plenty of room for another one. It would have been nice if we could have both Sat down. It did not have a closet & no place in bathroom to put things. I did not like the floor. It was wood & not waxed or polished so it felt dirty. I don’t think it was dirty but it felt that way & kind of looked dirty. Even scatter rugs or something like that would have made the room more comfortable. The room did not have a refrigerator or any way to make coffee & other than the 2 bottles of water when we checked in, we never saw any drinks. The room did not have a clock or a phone. The toilet was stopped up the first time we flushed it & kept getting worse. I finally put the robe on & went to the Lobby to ask for help. One morning we went to take a shower & had no water so I again put the robe on & went to the lobby. I have never ran around in the lobby of a hotel in my robe before & I hope never again.

structure is very unique and vibe is like a home
facilities are too old and not like the introduction pictures.
not much service provided and designs in the room is just like a motel. not worth 300$ at all

No complimentary Wi-Fi! Individual A/C unit in room did not stay on. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Walls in room are thin, you can hear people in the lobby from third floor. Booking listing says complimentary wine… I was charged! Hotel needs work for what they charge. Extremely outdated. Elevator did not work!

liked that it was tucked away off the Main Street and a very quiet neighborhood. Still a great location and easy to walk everywhere.

We had no food or snacks at the hotel.
The room was small, but very clean and newly Up dated.
We were on the third floor and the elevator was a RELIC, old and creeky...Old Old Old.
The bed was in a hard wood Box, and the corners protruded out, causing a collision with my legs.

Location was fantastic. We did not eat breakfast at the Inn.
Mattress was a bit firm and not our typical comfort level in a mattress.

The room was clean, bed comfortable and the bottled water was appreciated as were the robes
Room 11 was very loud with air units outside the window, the bathroom was dark and quite outdated, no coffee in the lobby in the morning and way over priced as compared to my friends rooms who were updated (room 5 and 10).

absolutely nothing
dirty, under construction, unfriendly staff, dark and dreary room, this was absolutely nothing like the ice they show on their web site, BEWARE!

Our romantic and charming high ceiling room was very comfortable and clean, with 3 armchairs, closets and nice furniture. As it was in the third floor, it was very silent, we were able to have a quit resting night in a great bed. No noise at all at the third floor, even facing the street, with plenty of free parking space. There’s a small elevator to bring the luggage, but using the charming stairs to leave the room was much more exciting for is. There are adorable art pieces! We had five stars breakfasts outside the hotel, as the location is wonderful, close to restaurants, stores, museum, etc.
I didn’t like the shower curtains because they weren’t odor free.

Location was ok. Street right outside is completely dark though for some reason. Also hotel advertises free wifi but that is not true. They ask you to use a 'free wifi' that is unusable and belongs to some nearby restaurant. Unusable. Don't even waste your time. Hotel rooms are clean but no refrigerator/microwave or any other facilities except the absolute basics. All in all I'd say it was ok. Just ok. Not above par or exceptional.
