Nice classic hotel in Montecito

Liked the way they made a unique older property nice. I liked the valet parking which gave excellent service. Our room was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed.

Would have been nice to have a coffee/tea maker in the room

Superb

It was in a good location near the beach and close to the highway. The hotel was clean and efficient and good value.

It had noisy roadworks outside which was unfortunate. Also a busy Highway the other side, but you didn’t notice it.

Overall would stay there again. Very relaxing.

The weekend breakfast, location to multiple beaches, and onsite restaurant.

Noisy toilet that needed to be fixed. Hotel discounted to address. Most appreciated.

Since COVID every service is poor. Housekeeping on demand coffee in check in area slow elevator if available valet required because in room rate.

The staff were wonderful, helpful and accommodating. The pool and hot tub were very nice, room was clean and bed very comfortable.

It was an incredibly noisy location due to proximity to the freeway plus construction going in right outside the entrance. A bit challenging to get decent sleep.

Really uncomfortable 3 day stay.

Location. History.

Awful attitude of checkin staff. Cluttered room. Terrible bed- I am suffering from a sore neck after sleeping in one since day 1. Terrible bathroom design, the door hits the toilet seat. Ridiculous piece of ‘furniture’ in the really small space of the bathroom. Have they ever seen Japanese toilet/ bathrooms? They need to look at it. For design and ameneties. No kettle in the room. Poorly placed power points for charging. Not to mention the price one pays for all of the above inconveniences. Not my kind of a dig. Would have preferred to stay elsewhere.

Too much freeway noise to enjoy relaxing by the pool. Not much to do within walking distance. Small room and the tiniest bathroom.

Shower water pressure terrible, but very clean.

Very clean and bar was excellent.

The shower dribbled water and was difficult to get clean and wash hair.

Enjoyed the town of Montecito

Bathroom sink very small, virtually no space to place toiletries, makeup, personal items, bathroom mirror useless for applying makeup, magnifying mirror excessive & misplaced. Overpriced for size of room & bathroom.

Wwe were with a wedding party and did not have much time for any of the amenities...

the bed was comfortable but the room was very small, The bathroom quite small as well.

Very good

Location very convenient to the party I was attending. Room was comfortable and to my surprise received an early check in which I didn't expect. Easy access to the restaurant from the lobby for breakfast. I was able to walk to anything I needed which is a big plus when you are in a new area. Worth taking a walk to Butterfly Beach taking in the scenery and ocean air. I only stayed on night this trip so can not speak to the other amenities of the Inn.

Bathrooms are a little dated and I could clearly hear the people in the room next to me.

Very small and check in agent didn’t let me know that I needed to request maid service to get the room cleaned. Although room was cleaned after I complained.

Unfortunately it was so sad that, young lady upon check out, was asked, what year was this building built? And her reply

The young gentleman at the valet upon arrival was very informative, polite, respectful, and when walking in and out made a point to always greet us.

The fact that the toilets were so loud when flushing knowing that the walls are so thin. It almost made it so we did not want to flush it in the evening.

Not again.

The hotel seemed unprepared for guests. Most of the plugs and outlets did not work and required repeated calls to the front desk to get maintenance in the room. The window sash was broken and to hold up the window (to keep it open) a paint stirring stick was used as a wedge. The bathroom was small, tiles were chipped and the towel bars were not secured into the wall.

The hotel is, essentially, a self-service hotel which is great for a weekend stay.

The valet staff and front desk were very helpful. The hotel has been restored and is clean and functions nicely.

The toilet seat in our room wouldn't stay up. The refrigerator wasn't cooling so a new one had to be brought up upon arrival.
