We can’t wait to go back.

Was a beautiful remote place to enjoy the forest and some peace during the loud holiday.

The suite could have used some additional seating and a side table or two.

Nice quiet 4th of July getaway to share with our dogs.

The pet room was very handy. We could let the dogs out into the back fenced area and not worry about them escaping, the Fourth of July celebration was a nice surprise. We enjoyed the bbq hamburgers. It was enjoyable to have a dog friendly place to sit and enjoy the music too.

The king bed had a hole on the right side. There was no instruction how to work the tv. We received advice from the front desk however.

Convenient and comfortable room to relax and enjoy the stay

The location was ideal for our trip to the Mt Hood area. Fairly close and with the weather forecast, the better choice as the Mountain has heavy snow the second day of our stay. Would have been tough to travel off the Mountain for any reason whatsoever.

Comfortable and clean room with the fireplace to make the stay a bit more enjoyable. The amenities of the microwave, fridge and the coffee maker were typical but very nice to have.

Nice mountain resort with spacious rooms

Rooms are large and quiet Bed was comfortable and shower had good water pressure

Wifi was spotty which only mattered because cell service is not good in those remote places

Beautiful grounds and golf courses, very welcome. If the hotel was updated you’d be a 5 star!

Location, great golf, scenery, staff

A little dated, no scree door on slider, coffee maker was a 1 cup and the pods were to small to even make 1 cup. Nice to have a refrigerator would be nicer if you could have a freezer or be able to control the temperature … Hotel is under staffed, (the hotel not to be blamed ….front desk agents, restaurant staff that were working were awesome, hard workers, very helpful and welcoming .

Beautiful peaceful property with comfortable rooms.

We've stayed here several times and always notice that the internet is very weak to nonexistent. It's fine in building 1, where we stayed this time, but I don't know why they don't figure out how to get better internet in the other buildings.

the exceptional location, the beautiful pool. Staff was above and beyond. The restaurant food was very good, and amazing service. Unbelievable high quality meals, at extremely low cost. The amazing pool side room with a view of the mountains, hated to leave.

Perfect, we will definitely return and recommend to frients.

Very relaxing and peaceful

We had no idea that this place was a resort with golf course, restaurants, etc. Although we did not utilize any of these it was still a nice surprise. Beautiful forest setting.

Good

The staff were very friendly, very quick to solve problems, and very attentive. The view in the room was amazing. Staff also replaced the room I first checked into, as it wasn't exactly up to standards, but the replacement room was absolutely beautiful.

The hotel breakfast was awful, there was not even a normal bread on the table, there was no water in the refrigerator. And we had arranged for the rooms to be next to each other, but this did not happen.

The resort usually is a great place to stay but I think they are short staffed, like everywhere else

We went for a wedding and it was wonderful, the front desk staff was great. It's a beautiful property

We stayed in a room with a king and a fireplace-they said there was one free log but no log in there and we were too tired to call. The door in the bathroom wouldn't stay open-it needs to be fixed, so that was annoying. I also stepped on an m&m which means no one had been in there in awhile to vacuum-so it makes me wonder... the shower handle squeeked everytime you moved it which was also annoying. Some maintenance definitely needed there.

it was okay.

The rooms were big and having a heated pool was nice.

the restaurant wasn’t open for full hours and the staff was unprofessional. We were told to grab menus from the hostess stand and seat ourselves. they didn’t have enough staff for breakfast so they set up a makeshift buffet and it was not very good. there are no covered spaces by the pool so when it rains, your towels and belongings get soaked.

great if you're doing Mt hood and can't/don't want to stay at the Timberline.

large room and convenient location to Mt. Hood.

Patio lacked privacy. Terrible & very little coffee in the room- it's like 3oz's. None in the lobby either, you have to go to the restaurant and order overpriced cups.

Disappointed in our stay in Welches, OR

The bed was comfy and the room was big enough for our needs. The front desk person was very friendly but overworked.

We used to love going to Welches and golfing. The golf course is in really bad shape and they do not have enough employees for the golf course or the hotel. The hotel is really not aging well and upkeep is at a minimum, we were disappointed in our stay. We did get the room we requested but the room is so dated and upkeep is not what it should be. The SPA was closed during our stay.
