Water pressure and shower was amazing
Breakfast was late, had to go to McDonald’s . The guy that worked there seemed angry that I was there on time..
2.5
Bed was comfortable
The hotel was so noisy with people coming in late, talking loudly and slamming doors late at night. It was difficult to get sleep. They should do something about the echoing hallways and slamming doors. The breakfast was poor- the yogurt was warm and there wasn’t any fruit except green bananas. No juices or decaf tea. We skipped the 2nd day breakfast and just went out. Disappointing.
2.5
Breakfast was weak
Air conditioner was very old, noisy and had flooded the carpet. Window was broken and couldn’t be opened. Tub dated from 40 years ago.

It was very noisy, the room wasn’t very clean, and the beds were very uncomfortable.

It was close to downtown arcata and other places
The room was way too plain, and the bed/pillows were really uncomfortable.

The lodging was in a good location close to restaurants and a supermarket. When I had loud and noisy neighbors the first night, they promptly moved me to different room the next night' A staff member helped fix a TV that did not work.
I had a very loud partying bunch of people who kept me awake the first night. The TV got unplugged and did not work.. Arcata should get rid of the unsafe roundabouts by the freeway.

The location
This property is old and unkept. Very noisy with thin walls. In my bathroom there was rusted pipes and tub/shower drain wouldn't drain..it was plugged with all kinds of hair and debris. No coffee pot in room. Not worth the money.

The room was put together nice
The Staff very rude didn’t care to Accommodate. Supervisor rude I was rush to leave when I paid for 2 weeks of stay. Just was waiting on my Uber

The parking was close to my room. The coffee was ready early.
My room was not ready by check in time. I had to wait 30 minutes..the women at the front desk were not pleasant to deal with. They were not friendly. They ruined my good vibes by not smiling or being friendly.

the staff during checkout was extremely rude and degrading! we had asked for the late check out upon checking in, and the staff who checked us in said it was very likely we would be able to check out at 12pm. The next day we got a call and said we needed to check out. I told the staff we did ask for a late check out, he said he would try to accommodate us, which was at least nice of him. He called back and said we can checked out by 11:30 which we were fine with that. I went to check out around approximately 11:27AM and then walked back to the room to pick up our belongings in the car. A few moment later, the staff walked up to us with a house keeper threatening us that we needed to leave and it was only around 11:40 because I looked at my phone. I have been to many hotels and always understand that late check out can’t always be accommodated, but to treat us as if we were trying to be a squader when we were basically walking out of the room with our luggages was beyond condescending. Especially, when we were leaving and it was only 10 minutes after we checked out! Other hotels were so much more accommodating and never had any problems with us leaving a few minutes after we checked out. This has been such an infuriating experience especially when we were planning to come back next week to visit our kid who goes to Humboldt State and was going to book our stay there for a 3 nights. so you guys definitely lost your business with us, but I’m sure you probably don’t care about this fact based on how your employees you treat your customers.

The hotel was decent but the staff and management was horrible. I had to leave a day early due to weather and needed to leave a day early. I asked if I would be refunded the day I lost and was denied. Then when it came to getting my deposit back they denied me and said it was because there was blood on the bed. There was no blood and I asked to return to to room to take pictures and then again I was denied because I was checking out, yet I still had a full day and night paid for that they wouldn't refund. I will never stay at this location again and would recommend that nobody waste there time with these unpleasant and lying staff members.
Never will stay again

The room was clean and quiet as well as large. I asked for extra pillows. The clerk at the front desk was very accommodating. She sought the pillows out and brought them to our room. Above and beyond service. The breakfast was good. The area was clean. The staff kept everything in order and stocked.

Parking was okay and breakfast was okay and WIFI and TV worked
Neighbor noise through adjoining room door (that was locked). Had to call front desk several times during the nite. Next stay will specify room without adjoining room door. And micowave did not work. (checked to make sure it was plugged in)

I was staying at the Ramada for night to get warm and take a hot bath for my home didnt have any power for about a week about a week on account of intense damage from wind storms. The room had a fireplace heater that was a bonus and the staff was very helpful.
2.5
The bed was comfortable
For the cost of 400 dollars for nights, not once did my room get cleaned! You had to put your towels outside the door and hope you get the number of towels you need. If you come back late to your room there isn't housekeeping service to receive any towels. You have to go to the front desk to request shampoo, soap, lotion and conditioner. If you don't mind doing your own house work, then this would be the place for you! I will not be staying here again!
