Decent location
The room smelled of urine (cat pee, to be precise) - it was rather unpleasant. The pillows are small and uncomfortable. You can buy better pillows at Walmart for $4.

Great location. Walking distance to town (restaurants, bars, etc). Beds were comfortable and good parking. Pool was average but still nice.
They need to fix the bathroom door in the pool area. I almost got locked in but luckily had my phone to call the front desk for help. Luckily she came right away!

The hospitality, atmosphere, and cleanliness of the facility are big reasons I like this place and at such a good price.
Can't really find anything to dislike.

Free breakfast
More variety for breakfast. Maybe add some eggs and sausage.

It was handy to walk to restaurants. Room was large
Ground floor room lacked sheer curtain-forcing use of blackout curtains even in daytime. Door had to be slammed to latch. Two queen bed room had only one blanket.

The staff were all very nice and helpful.
Our 1st room was dirty. Mirrors and microwave hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The quilt on the bed was ripped and the carpet needed cleaning. The handle fell off the bathroom door. The staircase needed to be vacuumed desperately.

Nothing! Rooms were clean and staff was above and beyond!

Wasn't really clean
People were banging on the doors and running up and down the hall yelling

The cheap prices.
It was filthy disgusting, long black hair on everything. Dirty
Rude RUDE staff. .y phone died and I needed a taxi and the front desk woman was indignant about calling for me.

Cleanliness.
Unfortunately there was excessive noise throughout the night. Because of this I would not stay there again. It's possible that this was just a one night issue, but not willing to chance it being so by risking another possible unpleasant night stay.

Not a lot of choices for breakfast. It's easy to find on the main floor. Nice staff working there.
No decaf coffee. Sugary cereal. No healthy choices. The hotel and room upkeep has been neglected and poor cleanliness. The bathroom door wouldn't latch, and the handle fell off.

The staff was awesome. The chair and ottoman was the most comfortable resting place for me (a 69 year old man, riding in on a Harley-Davidson) of the three hotels where I stayed on my trip, even though the others were higher rated. This hotel was a great value for the money, and I booked last minute, during a festival week in town.
Nothing. My expectations were exceeded.

The best location for our itenirary for 2 days.
I am very particular with the cleanliness of the room. The room we were in, under the sink in the bathroom, there was a blueberry left, there was a bottled water on the windowsill and the door key under the bed. When I used the iron, it was very dusty. There is a distinct smell as you walk in the building, the hallway and in the room. It does not smell good. It needs freshening up! The location was the best. Close to the Royal gorge train as well as the bridge and park

The breakfast was terrible.
Dirty room, burn holes in bedspread, cigarette butt laying under TV, floors not swept, bed sheets dirty, no extra pillows or blankets. No other rooms to move us to. Slept on top of bedspread as we were so tired.

I really liked how nice the staff was. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile
Lisa was awesome! And even though the hotel wasn’t lavish and extravagant, it was great. The staff makes all the difference
