The parking
The toilet had poop in it. The room had a heavy perfume smell. The shower had black mold. There were spots on the bathroom mirror. Counters were dusty. Floor was dirty. Paint chipped and had some runny brown substance on the walls. There was an ant in the room. I have numerous pictures of how dirty and disgusting it was. I slept in my car most of time I was there. Dried substances found on the bathroom floor. Microwave was broken. The bed was horrible. I could go on and on but why? The guy at the desk was disinterested at best and seemed annoyed. I would like to be reimbursed, but that's a joke.

property is in a good location.
the resident management staff is the absolute worst, incompetence and unprofessional do not even begin to describe these people. came back to my room after being out with friends and for the 4th time in several hours my room key did not work again, now midnight I went to the office to get my key fixed, office was closed so knocked on the door to the residence of the manager, after 10 minutes I began to knock louder and within minutes the police arrived only to tell me the manager reported me as trespassing and requested me to leave. these people have no business managing a motel, they are rude and offensive as if I owe them some debt of gratitude for reserving a room there. stay at this hotel at your own peril.

Room was available when we needed it. The bed and bed linens, towels, floor, and counters in the room were clean. There was an iron/ironing board and hair dryer available. Nothing was broken. All the furniture in the room was vinyl and metal so that it could be wiped down. Always a good thing in a one-night-stay type hotel/motel. The floor was vinyl wood flooring - also good for a quick mop and there was no way for dirt to grind in. The in-room coffee was good.
The in-room refrigerator was really loud and our room was next to some kind of control center (?), because it was not a numbered room and randomly through the night there was a whooshing sound. The room could use a good scrub - just take a brush and scrub around the light switches, door jambs, base of the shower tiles, back of the toilet seat area. And while the coffee and whole milk were good (and there was sugar and Sweet N Low), the totality of the rest of the breakfast was packaged Hostess Twinkees, Hostess Cupcakes, Froot Loops, and Raisin Bran. Just sort of weird and carb heavy for sure. There was also a gallon container of apple juice and a gallon container of apple juice.

Nothing
The room was tight and cramped, dirty, unkept and old. The room was full of flies and the toilet came on and off all night long. The shower pressure was very poor. It was in a sketchy part of town and a portion of our walk to go to dinner had no street lights.

location was good for our travel route.
dirty; run down; breakfast was cold coffee and twinkies; internet connection was too weak and too slow; owners/managers didn’t speak English; my child became sick

The room was clean & the furniture was updated.
The breakfast was poor. There was no fruit, only cereal, Twinkies & Hostess cupcakes.

The motel was in a good location although access was problematic because of road work being done all along the street the motel faced. I suppose the price is a competitive price there, but I didn't feel up to comparing - I just wanted a bed for the night.
I think the manager was trying to be a stereotypical south asian. I overheard conversations in which there was no attempt to be pleasant or accommodating. He specifically criticized companies like Booking.com to the customer ahead of me. There were two groups of bikers staying next to my room and except for a couple of them starting their bikes at 6 AM and letting them run (warming up) until 7, there were no problems. The problem came in the form of a $50.00 charge on my credit card that was fraudulent. I am 81years old. I got no special services, bought nothing, spent the night alone, left early with the room in untouched condition. It doesn't surprise me that they would do this, they do not like working with Booking. com, they said. I plan to challenge both your bill and theirs. You can't contract with people like this and please your customers, too.

"Breakfast" was minimal: coffee, OJ, apple juice, some prepackaged Hostess cakes, cereal & milk. Breakfast was poor compared to other Econo Lodges I stayed at.

The toilet in the room was broken. There were India/Pakistani men standing outside all over. It was very unnerving. The room was clean as was the one we were finally put it. The lobby at check in smelled awful. I'd have cancelled if I could have. Will NOT stay there ever again.
