Bed was ok
Front desk people made me feel like a thief there were soap from previous person and hair left in shower carpet was dirty I walked across floor my feet was black told front desk didn't offer a discount only I sorry that was it.

The staff was courteous and professional.
The rooms were filthy, the carpet had stains, and it smelled musky in the room. The breakfast was cold and not replenished as needed. The waffles were good.
3.2
The rooms were not clean and had to sleep in a smoking room. Was not told this would be a smoking room. My kids have allergies and it made our stay awful

it is motel style and we liked convenience of parking next to the door. room was clean, bed was comfortable, but there were cigarette burn holes in the sheets.
breakfast was meager and the scrambled eggs were really bad - they had added a lot of water to them. I could hardly eat them.

Location. It’s close to family.
My toilet wouldn’t shut off. I checked the tank to see why the flapper wasn’t sealing and there were 2 syringes in it.
The coffee pot had a used coffee bag in it.
came down to get coffee at 8:58 and they had already moved a chair in front of the serving area.

There was less than a roll of toilet paper with no new roles. The dryer didn’t work. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed. The beds said they were Queen but they were doubles. We were too tired to leave. Horrible.

Very friendly staff.
Older, pretty run down facility.

Friendly staff
I didn’t get the room I reserved

Pleasant staff, convenient location, comfortable bed, refrigerator, microwave, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, the breakfast was good, and the staff kept a check on it and replaced food items when necessary.
The room was a little rough around the edges, noticed a cigarette burn hole in bedspread, toilet seat looked like it could be replaced, room smelled like perhaps someone had smoked in it, traffic noises could be very loud at times. Not meaning to be overly critical, but consider this as constructive criticism.

We were happy to get something a reasonable distance from Jonesborough during the Festival. The breakfast was pretty decent. The room was comfortable.
Some weeks after I made the reservation, I was called to say that they had overbooked and couldn't meet the original agreement to have me in one room for two nights. Instead, we were going to have to move to a different room for the 2nd night. Also, $170/night is way overpriced for that room. I understand that the motel is taking advantage of the Storytelling Festival when every hotel in the area sells out but paying more that double the normal nightly rate is taking way too much advantage.

The ride to raceway was about the only thing good.
I didn’t like that there was no communication that we had to REQUEST made service, we had to rely on a sticker on the mirror. Any where I have ever stayed we always had maid service. So for 3 nights our garbage was not taken out, no clean towels, the front desk said if I wanted clean to bring my towels over & they would give me new ones. That’s not my job to bring dirty towels to you. The covering to the door lock on the inside door was missing, thank god I had no small children. When we visit again we will stay somewhere else.

The room was crawling with roaches. Filthy, dirty dump. Room stank so bad it was sickening.
