Wonderful

It was clean and the beds where so soft. The staff were great. They helped me figure out what went wrong with my booking through booking.com. The guy at the front desk told booking that they should make sure and have everything ready to go for the customer. The breakfast was good as well. We really enjoyed our two days there and at the folly beach.

It was all great have nothing bad to say about the place.

Room needs maintenance!

Location was perfect for what we needed.

No toilet paper holder roller so paper was on the top of the toilet tank. Shower soap dispenser was empty. Shower dirty. Lost cold water during my shower. No cover over the light just inside the door.

The staff was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond. It was clean, quiet, comfortable. They were very busy and we were on the lower level and we only heard our "neighbors" one night out of five and that was because they were outside playing music during daylight hours. Otherwise we really didn't hear anything else day or night. Breakfast was decent- pancakes, sausage and eggs along with breads and cereal.

The shower kept turning off on us. It would turn right back on if we shut it off and turned it in again so it wasn't a big issue. They offered to change us rooms the next night but we opted not to. It wasn't that big of a deal to us.

The hotel is run down and total garbage… they didn’t have the room ready when we arrived & had to wait 2 hours for it… the sink leaked (like flooded the floor) and when I called management they told me that housekeeping left for the day and there was nothing he could do, there were holes in the walls and it smelled like marijuana everywhere we went…

All in all we managed and had a great time.

Good location. Friendly Staff. Great places to eat. Convenient places to fish. Being a smoker, appreciate a smoking room which are hard to find. Loved that we had a seating area. Comfortable and Clean bed.

TV Reception was not good at all, but then again we didn't book the trip to sit in the motel to watch TV. The commode did not flush properly. The refrigerator was froze over, needed defrosting. Needed a table for seating area and cushions for the back of the couch.

Food assortment for breakfast and the erratic hours of operation. The house cleaners would take out towels and not replace them. The sheets were not changed out when they said they would.

The hotel staff were ok. The room was typical but both nights music was really loud coming through my walls until early in the morning hrs. The hotel manager took almost two hrs and multiple calls to deal with it and said oh the back rooms always have bad guest will never stay again

Mother & daughter trip night one…

This property is going through a complete upgrades to the hotel. Our room was just remodeled so it was great. Beautiful new carpeting. Very nice lighted mirror in the sink area. Upon arrival our luggage was carried up to the second floor for us by the owners sons. Family was very welcoming.

I believe every effort is being made to make this property very successful. Location is very nice and close to everything.

not a very pleasant stay

the beads were kind of comfortable

the AC was extremely loud. from time to time it sounded like a jet engine starting and woke us up multiple times during the night. The bathroom looked very old and run down and there was mould on the wall. the door to the room could almost not be opened because the floor was so uneven.

Honestly, nothing. The entire room smelled of marijuana heavily. There was trash everywhere outside and empty beers cans all over the place. Not a good area and nothing to do around there. Checked out early and did not get a refund and when I asked the front desk for a different room due to the strong smell of marijuana they refused. 0/10!

The Microwave didn't work in my room Also the lights between the beds didn't work either and there was a protruding nail head in the bathroom floor near the sink. Also at 1:45AM on October 10th I was awoken by people making a ruckus outside.

It was disgusting!! spend the extra money to have a better stay!

the price

the pictures were deceiving!! the first room had dirty sheets so we switched rooms. Our 2nd room had a filthy ironing board and the floor had weak spots where we felt like we were going to fall through. The shower was very dingy so we all wore shower shoes.

Black mold in bathroom floor boards loose smelly like mold an cigarettes. Had a family emergency had to leave day early still charged both days. My camera is inoperable on my phone or would have taken photos of issues including loose electric cover

the only thing good about this stay was the bed

bugs in the room, dirty couch, terrible customer service, both ice machines are broken front desk literally banged on my door just to tell me she was leaving, you can hear the people on top of you just a TERRIBLE AREA pictures look NOTHING like the actual property

I had a place to stay for one night even though I paid for two.

The room wasn’t clean, the tv wasn’t really working, then on top of that I go to take a shower I have blood on my towel.
