Very disappointing.

The location is good and the motel is very cute on the outside.

Inside was old, the bed was very hard, the shower leaked. There are no staff on-site. They are supposed to have "Replenishment" services daily if you need something. We requested soap and never received it.

Nice area, fun for Octoberfest.

Location is great. Near grocery and restaurants. Full kitchen with working appliances.

The bed was too hard, no give, caused back pain for both of us. Sofa is very soft and difficult to get up from if you have bad knees. Very little in room entertainment unless you like old shows/movies. Not everyone is accustomed to Hulu TV. Ants in the kitchen. Poor water pressure makes taking a shower a long ordeal.

We have stayed here 5 times now and it was the same as before with the exception of zero contact

Location is perfect. Easy walking distance thru whole town.

they do not have personnel on site, at least we never saw anyone. Very hands off. Only communication is via text, which meant I had to fill out data prior to arrival even though most of the data was supplied to Booking.com. very impersonal.

Loved the area and proximity of all shopping and restaurants

Breakfast off site as none at motel. Very spacious. King bed that we had to jump into bed due to height of bed.

In our room, king suite with patio, would have been nice to have Kleenex and bar of soap bathe. If we had known that we needed to bring items like soap, bath wash, Kleenex, etc, we would have brought

Had a great time and was very comfortable in our room. I will try to stay there again when I visit next time.

It was convenient to everything. Was nice and cozy.

I felt a few upgrades could be done like new mattresses. Even though they wasn’t grungy. Had trouble finding enough outlets for our devices. Maybe some usb plug in night stands would be a great addition.

Don't get a bottom floor!!!😕

The location was great and the view was awesome in a store across the road or anything you need

I did not like the fact that they put me on a lower floor with noisy people upstairs keeping me awake all night while I was trying to sleep

The stay was fine but I was very out off by the stains and lack of communication.

Walking distance to everything.

The comforter on the bed had white stains ALL OVER IT. I texted the number the staff had been texting me on all morning and told them and asked for extra blankets and no one responded. We went and purchased sheets and a blanket.

Excellent location. Exceptionally clean and attractive large room. Genuinely appreciative staff .

Cleanliness, attractive decor, and warm & welcoming staff. Chris was amazing.

I never could figure out how to operate their TV system. Never stayed anywhere that I couldn't watch TV without having to go through many steps. I got totally frustrated and just gave up.

Perfect getaway for couples!

The room was beautiful, spacious, had a sitting areas with fireplace area/electric fireplace, has a coffee maker, small kitchen sink, and small fridge and microwave, and the full size hot tub was great after walking around Helen all day! The check in was virtual and easy. It’s perfect walking distance to the town, I walked it in wedges no problem. The rooms were also quiet. We never heard the people above us or beside us. This was perfect for our first trip alone in 5 years!

Amazing location for Helen stay

I love that the location was central to everything. We parked our car (for free!) on day one and didn’t drive it again until we left.

I have no real complaints. The bed wasn’t super comfy, but honestly any complaints I have would be trivial.

Very nice place to stay close to Unicoi State Park!

Location is great, clean and comfortable. Chris on staff was very helpful. Close to General Stire and bakery. Walking distance to everything.

The tv was a bit confusing if you are not familiar with streaming services.

The location is convenient. It was very walkable. If you needed anything, you just sent a text and they responded promptly.

I would have liked a chair in the room. The room that I selected didn't have a chair. I have some back problems. There was seating at a table with benches. I would stay there again but I would select a room with chairs

After one shower, there was not much hot water for one after unless you waited for 30 min.

My husband and I enjoyed everything about this hotel!! Such a quaint experience and very clean!!

The only thing I would suggest is Kurig machine for coffee. Getting to the coffee pot was a little difficult.

The Helen Hotel was a great place to stay for Oktoberfest weekend!

The room was very clean and the beds were relatively comfortable. The best part was the location! We had a nice mountain view from our door/window. The hotel is right across the road from the IGA store and Hofer’s is just up the hill. There is a toy store at the end of the parking lot with a lot of great gift options. The whole town is within walking distance. We never had to use our car once we parked it.

The faucet in the bathtub is complicated. I was never able to turn on the water without turning on the shower. The water was hot though, so it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. Also, the Wi-Fi was a little slow.
