You get what you pay for, at a $62 base rate.

Location is really good, right in center of the town. Heating and AC are present and work well. Shower good and hot. We saw none, and needed no help from staff.

Bed mattress definitely needs replaced (unit 11A). The room has very little acceptable lighting. No ice container. No pool to use, as much of the property needs and is going under repair/renovation. However I've stayed at this property over numerous years and it appears to not be better in any really substantial amount.

Excelente calidad y precio.

La ubicación es excelente, muy cerca de downtown si es lo que deseas, el precio es excelente y el lugar es lindo, el agua sale súper caliente, como debe ser y pocos alojamientos tienen, la atención muy amable y linda, la encargada si hablaba español y estuvo a nuestra disposición.

El colchón tenía hueco en medio por lo que te ibas resbalando al acostarte, solo un poco. No hay área recreativa ya que la está arreglando pero tengo entendido eso fue desde pandemia así que no pudimos pasar un rato ahí con nuestra familia. Quisimos usar el asador pero no tenía gas

This adorable cabin was clean and comfortable for the weekend, we will be back!

The location was convenient to town, we walked to shops and farmers market. We parked right in front of our cabin which made it very easy to off and on load our belongings. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the room although having just a hot plate made it a little difficult to cook.

Hot plate only, air conditioner loud but effective.

The bed was very comfortable.

The shower was disgusting! Missing tiles that were filled in with caulking. T he floor in the bathroom was not level.

Exceptional

Location was perfect. Close to center city but far away enough not to hear traffic. Every morning we got to see elk and deer right in the front yard. Very simple, yet cozy. Would absolutely stay again.

All in all good trip. Hopefully the pool will be fixed in a reasonable time frame

West winds has the best beds and pillows. Sooo comfortable. Place was nice a toddy. Well stocked.

We had stayed at west winds before, the main reason we went back was for the pool and hottub. To our suprise these were both closed this time around. We also were able to get Ice from the ice machine previously. This time no ice maker. Seems like we got less this time around and paid more...

no pool ,the bed was awful! we kept rolling together in the whole. needed a massage and chiropractic appointment the next day.

Loved the location. Very close to shopping and dining.

Room was very small with hardly any room to move around. One small chair not very comfortable. Had to use the bench from end of bed to put suitcase on. No other place to put it. Toilet was very short for old knees. Liked the easy check in, but getting the door unlocked was a pain. Thought we were getting a kitchenette but only got a little fridge with not even a microwave. Will probably not go there again.

It was an extraordinary stay and I will always book again when I'm in this area

It was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in the US so far. I really admire that they don't have carpet in their rooms and it was all very clean. Owners are very friendly. I can highly recommend staying at West Winds when you are visitig Ruidoso.

Great place to stay in a central location.

The location is amazing, the rooms were cozy, and I liked that there was an area to sit outside of every room.

A few things need to be updated, but everything was usable.

A disappointment

The fireplace was nice.

No hot tub like shown on the map of the facilities. Heather made a clanking noise. Not all the lights worked. No staff on location. Entire room has a slope to it which made showering and taking a bath uncomfortable. Also ran out of hot water. Bathroom didn't have a real door. And the kitchenette was only a hotplate which took forever to hear up.

Our scenic rides great, hiking awesome, meals good, lodge satisfactory.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. The location great, general appearance good.

Mattress barely adequate, shower tiny, room really small.

The stay is just ok. I would not recommend them or booking. com

Location was good and close to down town. The room was clean.

The beds was not comfortable. The table was wobbly. Never could get ahold of anyone at the office. Try to call them and they would not answer or call you back. We left a day early and couldn't even tell them we as leaving

Good

It was very private and comfortable. The bed was awesome very comfortable.

I missed having a microwave and the water pressure wasn't all that great. And the sick kept dripping.

Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly. No major issues.

Good location close to town.

The height of the shower was too low. The shower faucet kept leaking.
