Accomodations were nice & right in the middle of town. Close to everything in Appalach.

The food at The Gibson Inn is very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The Gibson Inn has loads of character and the rooms are very comfortable. We stayed over Thanksgiving and the buffet lunch they provided was excellent. Location, Apalachicola, is great and has lots of character too. Great shops and restaurants. It's very near to St. Georges Island which is lovely and well worth a visit.
I did find the mattress on the beds a little too soft. There is some construction going on at the hotel, as they are expanding their facilities. Imagine that will be going on for another 6 months, at least.

Elegant, intelligent, and absolutely beautiful; while maintaining the integrity of the 100+ year old hotel! A must see place.
Nothing.

The hotel was beautiful! The bottom floor room had a small porch area with rocking chairs, which was nice. The room had two rooms and a bathroom, a bedroom and living area. The furnishings were very pretty. The location was great! You could walk everywhere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's only 11 miles to St. George Island. The food at the hotel was nice. All the restaurants we ate at were great!
You could tell the renovations were new due to the strong smell. The rooms were a little smaller than I thought they would be. The pictures of the suite rooms seemed bigger, but we had plenty of room.

Had booked a room similar to stay in 2022 I thought. But after check in we were informed that since I didn’t book directly Thur the Hotel this is what you get. Very poor customer service since I thought I did book Thur the hotel. They then processed to charge me for early departure since I had only stayed one night of seven. Very poor customer relations. Will not be staying their again

This is a quaint property. The rooms are small but the feel is relax, don't worry.
The beds were not soft. Woke up with a back ache....course I had driven from New Orleans

The Inn has lots of charm. Our room was very nice...looked to have been recently updated...very well done. Would definitely stay here again. Just to note, there appeared to be on-street parking only, but we didn't have any trouble finding space close by. Did not see a dedicated parking lot. Walkable to downtown shops, restaurants, etc. They are currently expanding and will have a pool in the future.
Only minor things. .Though they do have cable, they do not provide local channels (so no CBS, NBC, etc. unless you stream) The lighting by the bed is not good for reading in bed. Also, they offer a ' Breakfast for Two' gift certificate for $40, which we bought, thinking it was a special breakfast deal. Nothing special...it's only just worth the $40 that you can apply to your breakfast tab...not sure if you don't spend $40 on your breakfast you get any money back. If you go over amount..you just pay the difference above the certificate. So not sure what the point would be to purchase ahead of time, unless someone else would purchase for you as a present. Just a heads-up!

This place is great. it is a historic hotel with awesome balconies to sit on and is a very cute town to walk around and shop.
We had a room for three but didn’t realize one bed was a bunk bed, we made it work but retired people probably shouldn’t be climbing up into a bunk bed.

Very very comfy bed. Very homy and comfortable. Many extras in the room. I slept great. Tried the soothing sound machine for the first time. They have thought of everything.
Ate at the restaurant. Very good too. I had a great experience. I would go back again.
One window had slats that still let the light in. It would have been nice to block out the light totally.

Room and Inn was exceptional. Especially the staff. Very hospitable and accommodating.
The lounging chairs on patio were awesome just outside our room.
The resturant was slow on meals and the cost is overpriced. If we are guests of hotel we should at least get breakfast included with the room.

great atmosphere and location
room was small. bathroom was the size of a postage stamp and the shower leaked so much it flooded the floor (201). breakfast staff was reportedly so short we had to wait to be seated even though we were the 5th couple to arrive. that said, staff was friendly and the food was good

Breakfast was okay, though expensive
Paying $330 per night was STEEP. We won’t be doing that again any time soon.

The historical elements throughout the property were awesome. Restaurant and bar/ lounge on property. The wrap around porch had more than enough rockers to sit back, relax, and enjoy.
