This place is a dream stay. Everything about it was perfect. The lodge and the staff is top notch

Great atmosphere. The room was comfortable and cozy.
4.3
The location was very good.
it could have been clearer that there is no complementary breakfast at the weekend.

The room was super comfortable and spacious. The bedding mattress and pillows were our favorite!
The resort is dated, pool and common outdoor furniture is super dated. For being a resort and the price charged per night, I feel there can be a better esthetic presentation.

Really nice room with fireplace, jetted tub, balcony
Kind of a weird smell outside of room in main lodge. Inside it smelled and looked very clean.

This is a wonderful mountain location that provides great outdoor opportunities. It is rustic and a great piece of history in these mountains. The staff was great.
The only oddity I found here was that we had only one bar of soap to share between the shower and sink. Also, no towel bars. But the room was wonderful. The oversized jetted tub was great. The view from the back deck was amazing.

Hot tub, fireplace, location near Strawberry Reservoir.
Pricey for a fishing trip for two guys.
Wonderful fancy for a couples weekend.

Location was fabulous
Rooms were a bit dated and the bedframes were not very stable

Location and facility were great. Don't count on a continental breakfast though. They put out expired corn flakes and milk both mornings we were there. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The common areas have fun games like checkers, cornhole, ladder golf, etc. Hot tub was a nice amenity. They are very short staffed, but the staff that was there was friendly. The restaurant/grill offers a good variety of grill/pub style food.
Like I said before, it says a continental breakfast is offered w/muffins, fruit, cereal. That was DEFINITELY not the case. They put out a tray of individual packages of corn flakes that expired in 2020 and had a mini fridge with milk boxes. Very disappointed since the grill next door doesn't open until 10 or 11 a.m. They also didn't have fridges in the rooms so we couldn't buy groceries to keep for the next morning.

The location was amazing up in the middle of the mountains and the view from our room out the back porch was great. They have razors to rent out as well to their guests which made the trip fun.
Our razor was broken and we ended up having to get someone to pick us up which isn’t their fault but still was our only issue and the guy that normally rents them out wasn’t there so we had to wait for someone for an hour to ride one and then the one we took broke down.

Loved the outdoor cabin feel. It was fun to have a patio off the room. Restaurant was close and the food was great. We were celebrating our 32nd anniversary. We can’t wait to go back.
